Here's why what you have said immediately falls down:

I didn't say that nomination indicated that Trump had significantly increase world peace, I said that he had significantly increased world peace, which is why he was nominated.  Increasing peace leading to nomination = bar not lowered.

If you have to change what someone says to argue against it, your argument immediately falls apart.

It's so weird that you wrote all that stuff that makes you sound smart, but missed that very basic step at the start.

So thank you for confirming the lack of faut in my logic.

Not even slightly.  If you reread what you actually wrote, those other figures have nothing to do with your claim that the bar is low.

Your topic and all of your posts were predicated on your OP opening line:

“Apparently he has multiple nominations, possibly with more to come.”

From that, you concluded Trump must have significantly increased world peace.

But that’s not reasoning — that’s circular logic dressed up as inference and a textbook non sequitur — you're treating the nomination as both cause and proof:

Trump brought peace → got nominated → therefore brought peace.

History reminder: Hitler, Stalin, and Putin all got nominated too— apparently the bar’s not as high as you think.

Yawn.  Semantics!  He increased the peace in the world on multiple occasions.  More than enough to make him deserving of a Nobel Peace Prize.

Stop trying to deny this very basic and simple truth.

Nope.  Check again.

I made it very clear, at the start and throughout the thread.  He has increased peace, therefore he is deserving of/has been rightly nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Never once have I claimed that he must have increased peace because he has been nominated.  That's all in your head.

You're desperately clutching at straws and making things up, because you have no argument.

You can keep saying this, but it remains irrelevant garbage.

Keep lying, by all means, but your lies are extremely obvious.

Let me introduce you to a Brit called Sam Burgess who was playing in the Aussie football grand final. Sam was hit in the first 10 mins Fracturing his cheekbone and Eye Socket he carried on scoring and helping to win there trophy then he went for surgery thats being tough.

American football Tough ?? lets see you playing Rugby League without your padding and your Crash Helmet you wouldn't last 5 Minutes Yagoda.

Obviously, you don't know anything about this conflict.

The rebels and militias, which are the ones actually fighting, have not signed anything. They are negotiating with Qatar, not the U.S.....🙂

You're right I shouldn't be so mean, there's a country is that is tough enough to play American football, probably Israel.

I doubt that you are

Trump ending multiple wars is bad?  Can you explain why?

Damn, I knew I should have kept up with the news yesterday. I must have missed something momentous.

Which wars has he ended?

So the BBC made it all up? Could be, I guess. And that photo is photoshopped then? AI generated?

The governments signed this treaty. There's no guarantee that the rebels and militias will respect it.

Isn't it great news?  Trump keeps ending wars and bringing peace to the globe.  Even at home, he's working hard to make the streets safer and the country more prosperous.

It's so great to see.

Nominations (even multiple ones) do not necessarily mean that someone's "a sure thing" for a Nobel Peace prize.

(Incidentally, I don't believe Obama deserved one, either).

Tell him he'll get it if he resigns.

No, however the BBC article also sounds multiple notes of caution.

Further details are scant and previous peace deals in the region have failed - yet that has not deterred the US and Congolese presidents from framing this as a generational victory.

And further states:

Unless and until full details of the signed deal are made public, several crucial questions remain unanswered:

Will the M23 rebel group withdraw from areas they have occupied?

Does "respect for territorial integrity" mean Rwanda admits having troops in eastern DR Congo and will withdraw them?

Would the agreed "return of refugees" allow thousands of Congolese back from Rwanda?

Does "disarmament" mean that the M23 will now lay down their weapons?

Who will disarm the FDLR, after the failure of several previous attempts?

Would the agreed humanitarian access allow the reopening of the rebel-held airports for aid supply?

When you think about how pervasive lying about Trump is, this really means nothing.

This could literally mean, "Look at how low the left will sink to try to discredit Donald Trump".
