English is the official langauge in many countries, but you would struggle to find people that spoke as well as the Liberian dude unless they were from Upper class families with private schooling.

He didn't compliment the guy's speaking voice, he complimented him on speaking good English and asked him where he studied it. 

 

So Trump was obviously blissfully unaware that he's the president of a country whose official language is English. 

 

I'm absolutely sure he wouldn't have complimented Mark Carney or Anthony Albanese on their level of English, or asked them where they studied it, so ask yourself, why did he ask this guy?
