According to CH7 news, he's a Frenchman called 'Frank'. He claims the dog had been ill for some time and he thought it had finally died, so buried it.

  • Immediate deportation.  There's something deeply wrong with someone that would do that.  Someone that F'd up in the head doesn't deserve to exist amongst us.   Why blur his face out.  Name,

  • People seem to forget that Thai eat dogs too. Maybe some pictures of trucks full of dogs in cages ready to go to Laos to get savagely butchered.   Yes what this guy did was awful ,

Yes what this guy did was awful , but pot and kettle .

Pot and kettle? Are you deliberately being obtuse? A Farang treats a dog cruelly, and other Farang are just to shrug their shoulders?

The French eat horse. Does it follow that we should ignore all cruelty towards them?

Horses, not the French…….

Outrage in Phuket: Dog Buried Alive, French Owner Claims It Was a Tragic Error

A Frenchman residing in Phuket has come under fire after claiming he mistakenly buried his Siberian Husky alive, believing it to be dead. This shocking incident was witnessed by a foreign woman neighbour who reported the distressing scene online, causing a social media uproar.

Local Thai influencers and Facebook page admins quickly coordinated with authorities and the Soi Dog Foundation to rescue the mistreated Husky and two other dogs from the property. The alleged neglect has sparked outrage both locally and internationally, with many accusing the owner, Franck Bernard Marie Bayard, of animal abuse, while others questioned his mental health.

Mr. Bayard, who has lived in Phuket with his Thai wife for over 20 years, defended himself in an interview with the Phuket Times. He explained his long-term care for the Husky, emphasising his deep affection for his dogs, especially after the loss of his son six years ago. He recounted the incident, stating that he found his six-year-old Husky lying motionless after a seizure and mistakenly buried it, believing it had died.

Compounding the drama, foreign men allegedly trespassed on Bayard’s property and assaulted him before he could explain. Authorities arrived soon after, and the dogs were taken into care by the foundation.

Bayard's wife admitted to lapses in providing necessary medical care, but denied any deliberate cruelty. She expressed sadness over being separated from their furry companions and pledged their cooperation with the legal process to regain custody. The couple has also filed a police complaint against the men accused of assault.

This incident has sparked wider discussions about animal welfare and responsible pet ownership in Thailand, as well as the legal implications of animal negligence. The case continues to unfold, as officials determine the couple's legal standing and the future of the dogs involved.

You are absolutely right, but you have to agree that his physical traits are typically British.

Some are taking the vigilante in response to this unfortunate incident. They should face legal consequences.

Just dig a hole and bury him up to his chin.

Mind you it will take a few hours to get the right size, and that's with an excavator

  • Popular Post

Bury him up to his head and leave him there TIT

Leaving the head sticking out.... yeah okay

Did anyone check how many animals he has buried in the same area?

I am sure they have a soft cell for this guy back in France.

yeah you look like the devil straight from Hell

So many negative comments on this thread. Here's an alternative view of the circumstances.

It's sometimes very difficult to be certain that someone is dead, whether a human or a dog. There are many stories of humans being declared dead, but who mysteriously come back to life, sometimes, fortunately, before they have been buried, but sometimes after they've been buried.

The owner of this dog might have been aware of this history of humans coming back to life in a coffin, furiously scratching the coffin lid to try to escape.

Perhaps he loved his dog so much that when he buried it, he decided to leave its head above the ground, just in case it was not really dead.
