In the early hours of July 18, a dramatic turn of events unfolded on Pattaya's famous Walking Street. A 27-year-old ladyboy woman reported to the Pattaya City Police Station, claiming an Indian tourist stole her money following a night out.

The incident, reminiscent of a scene from a crime thriller, involved 34-year-old Indian national Nizamuddin. The woman alleged that during what was meant to be a fun encounter, he swiped 7,000 Baht (approximately USD 200) while she was in the shower.

According to the woman's account, the duo met at an Indian pub on Walking Street, a lively hub famed for its nightlife. After sharing drinks and friendly exchanges, they decided to continue the night at a nearby guesthouse in Nong Prue, Bang Lamung.

Trouble began when, as per her statement, Nizamuddin encouraged her to freshen up with a shower. Upon her return, she noticed him hurriedly closing a safe. Her heart sank as a glance into her bag confirmed her suspicion—the cash was missing.

Attempting to leave the room, she claims the situation escalated when Nizamuddin tried to restrain her. The ensuing noise drew the attention of guesthouse staff, who promptly alerted the Tourist Police.

In her report to Police Lieutenant Sakyachai Chaidet, she described the man's erratic behaviour, suggesting he might have been under the influence. "He seemed intoxicated or perhaps even high," she recounted. "His speech was slurred, and his actions were bizarre."

Police officers found Nizamuddin in a visibly distressed state, tearfully incoherent upon their arrival. Despite initial cooperation, his demeanour shifted dramatically as he was taken to the holding cell, where he began to shout and act disruptively.

The incident not only highlights the potential risks common in nightlife hotspots like Pattaya but also raises questions about safety and trust during such encounters. Police continue to investigate, ensuring that justice is served in what is yet another cautionary tale from the city known for its vibrant but sometimes volatile nightlife scene.

While this story serves as a reminder of the need for vigilance, it also puts a spotlight on the work of the local authorities, who are tasked with maintaining order amidst the chaos. The outcome of this curious case remains to be seen as investigations proceed.

She should grab a few of "her" mates, and take the 7000 Baht out of his sphincter, if they could stand the smell and the wildlife.

Well, this is certainly a complete 1800 turn of events. 😮 In the photo above, the person described as a "ladyboy" on the right, wearing the blue dress, looks very attractive. 😉

Lucky he/she was on her own, if it was multiple ladyboys he'd have got a pasting.

This is a new twist. 1000s of stories about ladyboy thievery, and finally one gets robbed. Maybe. It's another day in the crime capital of Thailand, Pattaya!

Now indians are making waves in Pattaya...

What was the outcome of this story?

Did he/she got the money back which was sorted in the safe?

How could she/he give proof that the money in the safe belong to Her/him?

OMG! Aint this a role reversal?  "Ahh yes... The old "steal the money while in the shower trick!". -Maxwell Smart

I wonder what else was in that safe, she must have recently off-loaded most of the monthly loot prior to starting afresh.

What's the point of a comment like that? Do you think it's amusing?

Isn't it fabulous that the Thai government prioritised quality over quantity in tourism?

There was a red flag immediately when an Indian suggested freshening up and taking a shower.

Not exactly John Grisham is it?

Yet 'it' still decided to go back to his room on the promise of a few Rupees for providing an appropriate 'service'.

A real man bites dog story ...

Wow...😲 – it use to be the other way round...:whistling:

This a new spin on an old subject. What a mug. If he hasn’t had the sense to leave sin city he can expect some special kathoey treatment coming his way. He’s a marked man now.

I am sorry but this story leaves me very confused compared to the previous story i read.

In this story the police clearly say it is a he said, she said incident that needs to be worked out between the 2 parties.

But is this story they take the side of the ladyboy and arrest and jail the man even though there is no proof and is only a he said, she said situation same as the other story. This confuses me because how can the police refuse to take sides when the man refuses to pay for illegal services yet, take sides against the foreigner for something they can not be sure even happened during an illegal transaction?

The minute he mentioned getting  shower, I would have though something is not right here, the safest place for the indian to hide his money is under the soap,

“The biter bit” is the expression I believe 😂

I thought that was something ladyboys were supposed to do to Indian tourists.
