IsaanT replied >Simplicity?

Yes agree, simplicity is ok, except when living far from help or peak hour Bkk  traffic, or existing health challenges, or getting older and needing closer watch on ones health to seek better informed medical decisions/actions.  E.g.  on B.P. meds?  then  it goes too low or not low enough?  got a pacemaker? need one? got suspected asthma?   Suspicions can save lives, versus complacancy can be a killer. My cardio tracer device saved my life because my doctor then learnt about the intermittent conditions.

These comments could save lives?

B.T.W. The 1000 baht watch I referred to above, claimed body temperature, but after measuring mine, the table cloth and a block of ice read the same. The blood pressure was a bigger lie. Not possible!

  • Cannot go wrong with Omron, recommended by doctors and very reasonable price.

  • Fascino will be able to sort you.

  • I bought mine from a Boots Chemist shop for abour 1800 baht: name of it is "Microlife" and it's been fine for about 3 years now. Operates on batteries or the small transformer which comes with it.

Does anyone have a 45cm+ arm where the machine comes with a cuff that fits properly (meaning loosely when it's deflated)?  I can get an accurate reading at the hospital as they fit me fine, but the unit at my dentist's office is one of the typical home models and the cuff is too snug, giving an incorrectly high reading, and I would guess it's a standard size here in Thailand.

Why dont you just buy one of those 1000? Tbht  watches that tell you everything including your blood pressure and your mother in laws maiden name and how many fleas on your dog?🤪

I'm only joking friends, but the Chinese makers are serious liars.

My B.P. machine is A & D Japan and spot on with the more professional machines. Only  after some 8 years a leak developed in the tube connectors inside that needed some silicone sealant and continues on faultless.

Are you aware of the amazing cardio trace monitors? that show basic beautiful sinus rhythm traces and  held with one hand pressing against heart/chest?    Leads are  available for extra measuring. Probably among the most economical is       Heal Force. Model Prince 180B.        About $130 Au

Also how about the oxygen level meters?  "Pulse Oximeters". Clips on to finger. As good as the hospitals use.

So with a B.P. machine, a heart trace monitor and an Oximeter what more could you want?😀
