So what you have in trunk for emergency

Featured Replies

My father thought me to have an showel/axe, northern Scandinavian.

When I served as ranger in Finland we had this as standard equipment.

When I went to university in the US, my room mate, (farm boy) was surprised when I run very small rabbit....stopped got out the poor rabbit was still alive so I grabbed it legs and smashed the brains out. would have been easier with an axe as my late father told me

I got this thing off Lazada, it's like baseball bat made of metal but has a flashlight inside. And sharp edges. Smart those Chinese.

Hopefully, I'll never have to use it but I practise Iaido every day.

Nothing, as have free road assist with MG, just ring them up.

Cs gas, cable ties, gaffer tape, gloves, ski mask.

I thought this was going to be about keeping emergency water, blankets, fire extinguisher, etc.  LOL.

Jump leads, old set of wiper blades, mag light.

screwdriver with interchangeable tips, pliers. 10mm ring spanner.

Jumper cables, rod&reel, lure box, tool box, flares, nunchaku, baseball bat, water, flashlight.

I always keep a polystyrene box in the trunk. So the missus can put the chilled/frozen goods she purchased in it when shopping.

She used to do the grocery shopping and then swan around for 5 hours meeting friends for lunch, go to the gym, or Lord knows what.  My smallgoods would arrive home partially baked.

But I think I over trained her.  Now she arrives home with the box that contains a packet of bacon and two chicken breasts, packed in nine kilos of ice. :coffee1:

Not in the trunk, but under the seat... A crowbar.  BR-549

Small Plank of wood to spread the jack load on soft ground, and couple of blocks of wood to give extra jack height.

No use to me as there's no spare tire provided in my car.

In the trunk all the time ...

... microwave, as to lazy to take out

... 20 meter heavy duty extension cord, to lazy again

... trainers/sneakers + hat

... walking stick, to give any aggressive dogs major headache

... large blade, if walking stick isn't effective

When O&A ...

... that granny / emergency charging cable (use mostly for home charging)

... water kettle, French press, cutlery, plates/bowls/cups

No spare tire.  Really should invest in tire repair kit.

Cash. That's all I need.

Nothing, the car doesn’t have a trunk.

Just my golf clubs. I can miss a ball from three feet away, imagine the damage I could do to someone’s shins.... :whistling:
