The problem with that is that Newsom presents quite well.  He's great at getting elected, but stinks at actually doing the job.  That's obvious from the mass exodus from California to Texas and Florida and other Red states.

 

Not to mention, if it's anything like 2024, it'll be JD Vance debating against the moderators and Newsom.
