Tonight on decided on walking towards the police box at Jomtien after someone posted on here about a homeless farang begging 

 

If I find him I will try to help him by giving him a list of mental health numbers 

 

I went into a beautiful restaurant called Cheap Charlies only to see or should one perhaps be corrected to hear ..a farang I presume British loudly playing some Soccer game on his phone like we all wanted to hear it ?

 

I thought does this mean not know others mere mortals are in existence here ?

He had no concerns about others whatsoever ,must we listen to come boring British accent commentary on Soccer 

 

I really felt like opening my Australia sports app and playing live the Australian football game ,of course these people are extremely selfish and would complain 

 

 

I then go to a bar opposite the beach to relax cross my leg over my other leg and enjoy a red wine hoping to meet other like-minded people of my intelligence

only to have a tattooed unkempt farang who was sitting near me proudly say something on the lines of " mate ...mate...I  just farted , if it had been any louder  I would be declared  dangerous '

 

Obviously expecting me to laugh at his nonsense disgusting joke 

 

I instead said and quite loudly ' You dirty little bespectacled man ! Absolutely disgusting!

How dare you smell near me

As I get back to my warm hotel bed many of us should count ourselves lucky we are not the homeless farang walking around Jomtien begging who will be out on the streets tonight 

 

I have just ordered a "turn down "service in my hotel where 3 staff members tuck you into bed and wish you goodnight turning out the light on the way out whilst this poor man will be forced to beg and sleep on the streets he may be even forced into prostitution 

I will go back tomorrow to see if I can find him 

 

Of course the rudest came across was a American man in the next bed to mine on a massage ( genuine)?shop who decided to go into detail loudly in answering the Thai lady's questions "where are you from ? Etc 

 

Instead of just giving a direct answer I could hear him go into detail "I'm from Texas " he said ..."well I wasn't born there .....but ...

If your going to get a genuine Thai massage please don't talk ..others around you are trying to relax

People do not come to Thailand to live if they are "high class".  It's a cost-saving measure for most of us. Unless you retire as a multi-millionaire, retirement will be a challenging experience in the USA and some other countries.
