I signed a petition last night to stop this cowardly Fox hunting in Australia 

Apparently English people are going to Australia to fox hunt these poor babies 

I saw a beautiful black fox and just wanted to cuddle it 

I don't know how you people that murder these beautiful creatures can sleep 

Why aren't they made into pets ?

I would like to adopt and rang the RSPCA in Australia this morning,where I rudely fobbed off 

I later found out the RSPCA are on the news for corruption in Australia

Did you leave the information below out of your plea on purpose? If so, why? Do you think it's OK for invasive species to destroy native species simply because they are cute? Adopting wild animals as pets usually does not work out well.

Again, a bit of research will answer your questions better than people offering personal opinions. Do you think it is actually feasible to catch and house 1.7 million foxes? Where would you house them? Australia doesn't want them there, nor any other country where they would be an invasive species. Would you also save and house millions of wild invasive hogs throughout various countries? Invasive pythons in the Everglades? Or are they fair game for slaughter because they are not cute?

Invasive means just that. They aren't a normal part of that environment and can be detrimental to other species, like the Anacondas and Pythons in Florida and Snakeheads in the US. Keeping their population in check is helping the existing ecosystem, just as deer hunting is in America. If you'd like, you can always catch them and house them yourself, although that might get messy.

Foxes are vermin, introduced by moronic upper-class tw!ts from Britain. They prey on native wildlife in Australia.

 

They have been involved in the extinction of 14 - 16 native mammals, with 100 other species and livestock under threat. They kill an estimated 300 million native animals a year.

 

No wonder the RSPCA fobbed you off, you must have come across as demented.

I’ve had a family living under my neighbor’s shed for four years now, raising cubs, and I study them nightly both in person and with trail cameras. I used to crawl through long grass with my .22 air rifle and sniper the legs out from under the famlies pet chickens.

I've got no issues with culling invasive foxes and feral cats, just to save the 200+ species of endangered birds in Aus.  Who evolved, BTW, in the absence of predators like cats and foxes, so many of them are sitting ducks. Literally.  They don't fly...

 

I am against doing it in a cruel manner, and in countries where they're part of the natural landscape.
