It depends on the thread.  If you ask for help on the Computer/Tech platform, you get nothing but helpful advice/tips - a very positive experience.

I think it has a lot to do with 'trial & errors' of life.   Some can't deal with the errors and dwell on too much negativity in their lives.  Mostly, OK, all caused by themselves, whether through their own actions or decision, that lead to negative results.  Surely there's some positivity in your life, you're still kicking, relish in that fact.

In some other forums there are no trolls because the first iffy post puts them on 'no posts published until approved'

Which limits their posting ability to one or two times publishing a day.

Which in this forum would reduce forum income, cos it's no fun trolling without all the instant replies.

Another rule often imposed on other forums "you must be nice to other forum members", and being nasty, instantly places you on 'no posts published until approved' watch list.
