Senate panel finds Russia interfered in the 2016 U.S. election
Politics Aug 18, 2020 4:49 AM EDT

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Trump campaign’s interactions with Russian intelligence services during the 2016 presidential election posed a “grave” counterintelligence threat, a Senate panel concluded Tuesday as it detailed how associates of Donald Trump had regular contact with Russians and expected to benefit from the Kremlin’s help.

The nearly 1,000-page report, the fifth and final one from the Republican-led Senate intelligence committee on the Russia investigation, details how Russia launched an aggressive effort to interfere in the election on Trump’s behalf. It says the Trump campaign chairman had regular contact with a Russian intelligence officer and says other Trump associates were eager to exploit the Kremlin’s aid, particularly by maximizing the impact of the disclosure of Democratic emails hacked by Russian intelligence officers.

How funny is that?

Kind of funny how much discourse, tantrums, accusations, self-righteous statments that get flung around on forums and the internet claiming to be "the truth". It's all subjective, including the truth (just a person's way of viewing something and rationalising it in a certain way so they can operate and not get mentally unstable)... one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter etc. Good and bad or right/wrong is all subjective... it's a point of view.

It's the same with many topics that people bicker about. Take music, fashion, or beauty etc... there is no such thing as good or bad music, a beautiful woman or handsome man etc., it's just what you think is good or bad music or what you think is beautiful or not. Music is just music, you are free to like it or not in whatever form it exists... beauty is even worse, there is no such thing, just what MSM/society pushes as beautiful norms or not. Same goes for politics and so many squabble over such nonsense trying to control the nartrative for their own ends... you need to cut through the fake static and self-righteous nonsense so many say, as it's all BS.

What you believe is what you believe... but it only makes it right or wrong for you, as ultimately it's an illusion... like choice is. What I believe to be right or wrong is dismissed as alien by those from different religions/cultures or whatever. The reason people think like this is because having a "good beed on things" that they think is right helps them order the chaos around them... but it doesn't make them right.

Why do you think there are so many wars and disagreements between peoples/countries... because everyone thinks they are right without realising that actually there is no truth any further than a set of certain given set of action that happen at a certain point in time... how you interpret it is what forms your "truth" so that it makes you comfortable in your existence, but it doesn't make you "right/wrong" if there is even such a thing.

Nope. Your argument falls apart by comparing innocuous concepts like music and fashion to dangerous and harmful real world applications of politics. Music, fashion - completely subjective, up to you. Political policies that allow suppressing free speech, arresting and deporting innocent citizens, etc. etc. - these policies are wrong, Full stop. That's the truth.

I bet you are one of the 66% of Democrats who think Russia hacked the vote count in 2016.

Don't worry, with Monika things will get much better, as you can see here: When she appeared on an episode of his podcast earlier this year, the pair took an audience question about who was more conservative. Without skipping a beat, Charlie Kirk answered: Erika, by far, not even close. I am a moderate compared to Erika. Let's wait and see

Your opinion is subjective and not worth anything more than anyone else's... dream on. Anyone who claims a monoply on the truth is a scammer. I'm surprised a poster like you are so naive.

So, I guess nothing matters then and this is all bickering BS and has no meaning, unless it resonates with you and changes your opinion, which is subjective, and makes meaningfulness in your life... but no-ones else's. Guess that the "truth" that people say is okay as t impacts you and your beliefs in the present... but it doesn't make it a universal truth for everyone, just for you in your echo chamber. I'm surprised how many people don't get it regarding the "truth"... they just spout their truth and foregt so much, including that the "truth" is actually very simple... just depends how you interpret it so that it makes you feel comfortable, but it isn't the truth... morons.

And yet the vile dystopian extremist forces of the shambolic Trump (best friend of Epstein) regime and those trying to whitewash how obnoxious and hateful Kirk REALLY was are trying to CANCEL anyone (getting them fired, etc.) who just shows and opines about EXACTLY what Kirk said in his life. Also they're trying (and largely succeeding) in making a person who was extremely far away from being a saint into a kind of magalicious (sic) martyr-saint. The hypocristy is stunning.

That is disgusting and even some right wingers like Tucker Carlson and Ted Cruz get that.
