It's become a nightmare for the UK residents to witness weekly crossings of illegals crossing the English channel. On Saturday over 1,000 arrived. If you became the person who was put in charge to stop it how would you begin ?. Myself I would have our 2 Assault Vessels moored in the channel with a helicopters patroling the channel and once a sighting is established it would be intercpted by the Royal marines onboard Albion or Bullwark and bring them to the Ship. Once onboard they will be immediatly removed to a detention centre in a former Army compound patrolled by guards. If they don't have papers or any ID they will deported within a week. If they wish to appeal I will put them to work on the land. Without the silly stupid ideas how would other members deal with this problem.

But you're still advocating bringing them to Britain.

I would issue a proclamation that from next Thursday from dawn onwards, all vessels suspected of carrying illegal immigrants will be fired upon and sunk when within England's territorial waters. Survivors might be rescued, they might not. Those rescued will be driven immediately to French waters and thrown overboard, after alerting the French coastguard that they might like to collect their illegal migrants from the water.

 

If one boat tries it, there won't be a second. Starmer has no balls, so this won't happen.

I'd moor a floating time portal off Deal and direct the boats through it.

 

That would take them back to the 5th century when they would be arriving at the same time as the Jutes, Angles, Saxons, Friesians and Franks.

 

According to todays UK "patriots" immigration by non-Christians speaking strange languages was marvellous back then, and we would now all be saying what a great country, culture, language, etc we had due to their arrival.

BarraMarra flooding this board with more far right nonsense. Do you actually live in the UK, or are you pontificating your xenophobia from Thailand? I do wonder how your life will be better once they deal with the small boat issue. So you stop 50,000 crossing into the UK, will your life be magically better ? 

 

The cost to the average UK taxpayer for these asylum seekers (which has risen ironically because we lost return agreements after their beloved Brexit) is around 9p a day.  So rejoin the EU, get the return agreements back in place and the boats crossing issue ends. But racists won't like that. 

 

Yet these say people will not go protest about the rising energy bills, inflation, government waste - which effects their lives much more.

 

RACISM is the purest form of thickness in UK society at the moment. They deserve all the economic lunacy coming their way.

That's an insanely stupid policy, and a sheer waste. The solution is getting our return agreemnets back in place that we had whilst we were in the EU.

See the disrupter is at it again. I live in the UK. Due to the influx of illegals we now have longer Doctor appointments, Dental appointments, younger family's unable to climb the housing ladder due to new homes being given to migrants in front of the cue for housing, to name a few. Is it right family's are having to rel'y on foodbanks while we see Migrants housed in 4 star hotels given top notch meals, free phones, free driving lessons, then have to watch 1 or 2 being shipped out and replaced by a thousand new arrivals the next day ? who is paying for them ?.

We did not see thousands coming into the UK in Rubber Boats daily when Brexit was in place.

None of these illegal immigrants is sailing directly from their home countries to the UK. They are passing through one or several countries because they want to live in the UK because they think they will get a better life (compared to where they came from). The whole problem could be sorted if only the UK could join a mutually beneficial community to reach an agreement not to allow migrants through. This arrangement or collaboration could be called the Unity of Europe or something similar, you know?

Utter nonsense. Dentist appointments have mostly been privatised, nothing to do with immigrants. You can still get a same day doctors appointment if you phone up at 8am - surgeries have to keep same day appointments for emergencies. How do you know it's immigrants that are to blame?

 

AN ALTERNATIVE EQUATION - you wouldn't even have doctors and nurses, carers if it wasn't for immigrants. 

 

High energy costs, high electric and gas costs, rip off waste by government that is borderline corruption, high council taxes for less services - BUT YOU ARE OBSESSED WITH ASYLUM SEEKERS.

I'd argue the volume of crime the Brits are comitting in Thailand, the awful bendirom style behaviour, the yobish entitled behaviour is turning away tourists. 

 

91% of people claiming benefits in the UK are people born in the UK. 76% of them are white british. 

 

Furthermore FACTS - the british governments own data shows migrants are net positive to the economy.  You can't argue with facts.

Why do you people keep banging on about this mythical returns agreement pre-Brexit? 

There were hardly any successful returns under that agreement, and that was when were there was only a trickle of illegal migrants. Not the thousands we see every month now.
