@angryguy Well mate - you certainly stirred things up didn't you?  IMO older men can become very grumpy because they are not as relevant as they used to be and things have not worked out the way they might have wanted. Most old women tend to just give up and shut up - they know being grumpy and angry is not good for their health.  Some of us grumpy older men are far too grumpy and become angry far too easily - often because they do not know that they are grumpy and angry. Hence my tag - Trouble and Grumpy. It is something my Thai wife and I share with each other - both as a laugh - but also to remind us both - her to not be too much Trouble, and me to not get too Grumpy.

How many times have non-Trumpers on this site said the same thing in many ways? And now, Trump himself speaks truth. On that Trump and anti-Trumpers are on the same page. (It also says a lot about what he really thinks of his cult.)

 

I think that Trumpian truth is reflected in the data. Here's an example:

 

Trump won 85% of all US Counties in both wins, 2016 and 2024. Combined those 85% of all US Counties contribute only 38% of total US GDP.

 

The other 15% of US Counties---the wildly successful ones relative to places Trump won---contribute 62% of total US GDP. Blue=winner. Blue = smart. Ergo, smart people don't like Trump.

 

I don't think the left hates western civilization, but maybe the left is just tired of having to carry the Red areas, who are slackers. Also, righties are valor stealers. Despite accomplishing nothing and having to be carried by productive Blue areas, righties try to latch on to inventions and discoveries made by people of similar ethnic background. "We invented the airplane and computer and went to the moon, etc.". No, it wasn't "we".

More complex than that. 1) Most of the British hate America, along with a lot of the Australians. 2) The Australians and the scattering of Euros hate the British. 3) Only some of the British seem to dislike the Australians, with the country not having a high enough profile to really generate hate from anybody else. 4) The French are considered with disdain. 5) The Germans are mostly in hiding and nobody notices them either. 6) The Swiss surprisingly create ill will, mainly through their kicking of Thai doctors, aggression on the roads, and kicking shopping carts.

There you state that it´s very common that members of this community are like you write and have such philosophy. How do you know that? How many members here do you know in real life?

After that, it´s just silly to try to state that it exists many, and it´s common with people wanting China to be leader of the world at the same time as they are childless, have nothing to live for and lacks hope. If we say like this, out of all the tourists and expats living in Thailand, do you consider it common that they fall/jump from balconies? Let´s say that 20-30 die that way per year, out of 36 million. Is that common to you? What you stated, will actually be in the same percentage rate for people to fulfill all the criteria you posted.

Let´s just say like it is. Most likely, you are depressed and might also be suffering a lack of social skills, which creates an envy of people who have great lives. Now and then, you just lose control and feel an unstoppable urge to post something negative about other people and collect many in the same box as something common to you. Unfortunately, DJT is alienating all the power countries in the BRICS and it is their goal to destroy not only the dollar but also the western countries.  It IMHO looks like DJT is a Russian puppet following his boss's instructions on how to help destroy the economy of the western countries.  A sad story for this old man from the USA.

The economy is crappy regardless of which party runs the US (into ruins).  Remember - they work for the benefit of their donors, not for the benefit of the average American. Hey, another wise person who realizes that the SuperPAC's donate campaign funds to candidates of both parties so that they can continue to control the means and ways of the govt to expand their portfolios!  Been this way for a long time but too many people still believe in the tooth fairy too.
