A British teenager, missing for 10 days, has been found alive in a Thai jungle. Surviving on insects and tree bark, Lawrence Stallard Honour, 19, was rescued from Wat Tham Sawan Bandan temple in West Thailand after an intense search operation. The teen vanished near the Thai-Myanmar border while attempting to cross, prompting immediate action from local authorities.

Honour disappeared on September 27 after trying to enter Karen State, Myanmar, through the Three Pagodas checkpoint, which was closed. His worried Thai-Russian mother, Gulnara Fattakhova, alerted police in Chon Buri after noticing irregular activityin his email, indicating he was in Sangkhla Buri, some 500 kilometress from Pattaya. Local police, led by Police Colonel Santi Phithaksakul, launched an operation to find him.

The One Sky Foundation team managed to locate Lawrence in a temple on October 11. He survived the harsh conditions without any food or adequate supplies, relying on ants and tree bark, after he got lost in the rugged terrain. Fortunately, he was found unscathed, and there was no evidence he suffered from trafficking or abuse.

His parents have expressed relief following his recovery. His mother believes Lawrence may have been deceived into travelling to Myanmar, highlighting the teenager’s computer skills but shy nature. This incident raises concerns due to the country's reputation for cyber scams and forced labour, especially after the 2021 military coup.

The US Treasury recently sanctioned operators tied to scam networks in Myanmar, linking them to trafficking and abuse, underlining the region's dangers. Lawrence’s motives for his border-crossing attempt remain unclear, but this serves as a stark warning about the risks involved.

What, first he was found alive in a Thai jungle, surviving on insects and tree bark. After that he was rescued from a temple. If he was in a temple, he would not need to eat insects and tree bark, and he could certainly make the monks aware of his situation. What is this?

Perhaps the temple is empty? abandoned by the monks afraid of the trans-border trade in people & drugs?

More to this story than we are being told! How much of the 10 day absence did he spend lost and how much time at the temple?

More likely took several days supplies then went and hid out to make up a story , looking for 5 minutes of fame for some quick cash .

Perhaps he was found by local people in the jungle then taken to the temple, from where the monks alerted the authorities, who rescued him.

Hard not to speculate when the story is so confusing... perhaps you are being a bit antagonistic, instead of being helpful.

He's a "digital creator". That's what the godlike beings on tiktok call themselves. "Creators". And there are many who worship them and hang on their every word.

Sort of a cheddar like bitey bark.

and very little in the way of actual details  although no shortage of dramatic speculation  human trafficking,  cyber scams, ,unspecified computer skills forced labour , Eating insects , Russian connections jungle etc etc

Considering that he has already been rescued, could  those 6 people sat around him whilst he sits on the floor in his comfort blanket, which includes police , army ,  simply not ask him what happened ?

They found him nearly a week ago after all.

Where is he in the photo    is it a safe house :cheesy:

He still won't a get a discount on short time or long time on WS.   555555555
