Does he include cannabis so that Phuket can remain drug-free?

Russian gangs will destroy Phuket if allowed to get a foot hold. Action needs to be taken now.

As a Russian I strongly disagree with you. Vlad recently showed off some really scary nuclear toys to teach some people polite manners. I hope you've already figured out how to get to the nearest bomb shelter?

Even if you decimated the US, UK etc. with a first strike, submarine launched ICBM's will decimate you. You clearly don't know much about nuclear realities, though we hear this kind of stuff regularly though from blowhards like Medvedev and on the Russian media. The reality is Russia couldn't even try to rollover Ukraine without resorting to recruiting mercenaries released early from prison and North Koreans 😄

Says a lot about what appears to be a fairly typical Russian mindset that it's a good look to threaten to nuke other countries and enjoy being controlled by a virtual dictator. I don't see Western nations indulging in it, pathetic really if it wasn't so dangerous.

I see this article has brought the "I Hate Russians" members out of the woodwork.

Time to rescind the visa-exempt entry status for Russians.

Indeed, but why limit the approach?

I know of a British drug gang that has been operating in Chingmai for years and years.

Let's revoke the visas of all UK nationals as well

Russians or Israel when is Thai Immigration going to ban them forever? Mostly criminals and or obnoxious <deleted>$$$. In the news daily and I am sure less than 1% even gets reported.

Never. Maybe you should leave?

Guess this is about that new system where they let buyers pay with crypto and then reveal some specific random spot in public where the buyer can collect it, aka there is never a person to person meeting.

Why stop there? How about the anonymous forum members who claim to know about foreign drug gangs but don't do anything about it.

You do know that every city and military installation in Russia, would be vaporised and left as an irradiated wasteland fifteen minutes after Vladimir decides to use any of his " Nuclear Toys " dont you? Dont they teach you that in Russia? Or are you just proving my point ? No one wins a nuclear war, and even Vladimir knows that..

Do you think that these maniacs around the world will blow up there wealth and yachts , private jets, luxury estates and harems to live in underground shelters where eventually the radiation will get us all, no one would survive even Antarctica would not be safe once the radiation drifts down there, its all scare mongering to control us make us fearful and manipulate people.

If you can find a Copy of Armageddon read it it is an old book but probably spot on as to who will survive a massive nuclear strike, no one at all, maybe some Tibetan monks high up in the mountains.

Cockroaches and rats will survive, so all this money and war mongering only makes arms manufacturers rich and makes the world a violent crime ridden hell hole in many parts.

The world is fast becoming a drug ridden money laundering mess.

Look at the money laundering from illegal gold mining in South America which destroys the forest pollutes the water with mercury and its all sold to a huge broker in Florida who buys it and transfers cash into shell companies which they then can spend the money legally. have a look at money laundering doco on Netflix, very good.

Another fool who thinks that the US will "win" a nuclear war.

Yeah. They'd kill humanity and most of the life on the planet.  A few of the political and billionaire classes who are within range of a state/military created "continuity of governance" bunker deep, deep, deep underground will survive - for awhile.  The rest of the surface dwellers will not regardless of where you are located.  That portion of human-kind who go underground will never surface as humans.  They will be inbred and something quite different from their ancestors who went underground when the missiles began to be launched.

Again, while I agree that there are issues with both nationalities, other countries -- like the UK -- have a long history of criminal activity in Thailand. The list is endless, from drugs to the original boiler rooms to countless drunken assaults and misdemeanors.

Calling for blanket bans is not the way forward.

If you read the posts in sequence, this person was responding to the Russian talking about Vlad's threats about possibly using their nukes. I see no boasting at all about the US here, read the last line of his post. Mutually assured destruction, if either side does a first strike their subs still have enough firepower to lay waste anyways....if they receive no instructions for a pre-determined period they are supposed to let loose. And, irrespective, the world still be irradiated and in a nuclear winter even if a first strike succeeded.

You need to improve your reading comprehension.

People scan random QR codes randomly placed and hit ok ?

<deleted> deserve to be scammed.

Btw - I recommend Annie Jacobsen's book "Nuclear War: A Scenario" if you want to get truly depressed. Very good book or audiobook. Netflix just released a Katherine Bigelow movie derivative of the first 1/5 of this book called "A House Of Dynamite" which is definitely worth watching.

A Phuket Member of Parliament has raised alarm over a sophisticated new drug trafficking operation using QR codes placed around the island. Chalermpong Saengdee, MP for Phuket Zone 2 from the People’s Party, revealed that foreign nationals have been distributing the stickers in public areas and tourist spots, linking unsuspecting users to online drug markets. The scheme reportedly involves cryptocurrency transactions and GPS drop points for drug collection, allowing sellers to operate covertly.

Welcome all Russians... everyone knew the outcome except TAT

I never suggested banning anyone, just make their ease of ingress more challenging, visa-only.
