A video showing a fight between a Chinese and Korean tourist in Pattaya has gone viral. The footage reveals the Chinese man punching the South Korean man as bystanders, including local bar staff, intervened. Local officials eventually diffused the situation, though some claim the video is not recent.

The incident reportedly began when the Chinese man allegedly jumped into the South Korean man's livestream, leading to provocative gestures and a subsequent confrontation. A Thai woman noted the footage's age, suggesting the fight started over the livestream. Following the incident, two bars faced temporary closure by city officials for the involvement of their staff in the altercation.

Witnesses at the scene included bystanders, some of whom encouraged the fight. However, assistance from bar workers and security ultimately separated the brawling tourists. Previous confrontations have also occurred in Pattaya, linked to similar livestream misunderstandings, highlighting ongoing tensions around public recordings.

Looking forward, it is unclear if the involved tourists will face legal repercussions. This incident adds to the recurring issues in Pattaya concerning privacy, livestreaming, and its impact on tourist interactions. Local authorities are likely to continue monitoring such situations closely to prevent future conflicts, reported The Thaiger.

Key Takeaways

  • A viral video shows a fight between Chinese and South Korean tourists in Pattaya.

Im outraged. How dare they do something like this tarnishing Pattaya’s family friendly image.

I always liked the Family Guy episode when God introduced the Asian to the world... but the only problem was that they all hate each other for some reason.

Gotta love this place sometimes....

Are we entertained?

Stopping a pair of scallywags from brawling will not make family destination out of Pattaya. Have at it!

They just can´t fight these days

As a taxi driver once said to me ..you can't give strawberries to pigs and this is in your case babe

Was the Chinese guy the chubby guy or the skinny guy? Who was number 3 who was not impressed that chubby stole his beer, then had the women hit him?

Did they walk the walls and fly around with swords, please be that..

As I understand the guy at the bar (in beige) is the Korean.

The half naked lowlife jumping like a wannabee Muay Thai fighter is supposed to be the Chinese. I don't have much sympathy for Chinese but I can hardly believe that one behaves like this subject.

90% chance that this is Soi6(?).

It's close to impossible to walk there without being filmed.

A pest yes, but  „If you can’t stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen“.

It's a dangerous idea to walk there with a cam. Good chance to be beaten up.

Learn how to have a hidden cam.

Let me clear up all the confusion here: Top op photo shows the chubby Chinese man with green bottle fighting the Korean. In the video the same Chinese man with the bottle is fighting with the skinny Thai man. . Conclusion the sh*t lode of  chinese males around Pattaya now  are a pain in the butt.  Was at a remote seafood restaurant in Naklua and this full size bus pulls up with about ,50 chinese males...IMG_20251206_074332.jpg.28a6f52f44db9ab11e6e01abf3bc00ce.jpgIMG_20251206_074457.jpg.41f4a9dc24c70e5c94012fcd803a4e78.jpg
