The air is much better this morning.

What a difference a day made. ^^ No it's not a caveat /butts on the ground ,regarding smoking outside for folks who are hyper sensitive to cigarette smoke.

  • Why do people bitch and moan about the AIQ here in AN? Is that supposed to make the air cleaner? Your complaints aren't going to stop the burning. Stop complaining and do something about it i

  • We've found that Chiang Mai's air gets 'really bad' for about 2-3 weeks, so we wear masks when we go out. The rest of the year... no significant problem for us. Others may have a different opinion. So

Are you flying a kite?

Yep.  It's a popular hobby in these parts.  Since mentioning it yesterday, I can state that the kite was still flying this morning and has remained airborne all day.  Most people around here fly their kites at around 350-500 feet but mine is only at around 150-200 feet.

Back to the topic of this thread - the constant breeze is keeping the air clear here.

I'm inclined to agree.  It happens every year, all over most of Thailand (and the rest of Asia) and yet still gets treated as important "news"!

You either learn to live with it, or move somewhere.  Thais don't have much choice.  But constantly complaining about it and doom-mongering doesn't help.

What do you thing this forum for then? To discuss challenges and our failures we fad here in Thailand or to sing Kumbaya in full agreement?

Two options:

There is a 3rd option:

Move the fnck outta Thailand during the 'burning season'   (or move far enuff south in Thailand during it)

I guess the folks giving my posts the 'thumbs down' emoji prefer to bitch and moan about the AIQ in an internet forum year after year, rather than learning how to live comfortably.

That's too bad. Sorry, guys, but there really IS another way to live.

You're wasting your energy.  THat is all most do here day after day after day.  I have fun reading their past posts on their profile page.  Some mental giants here...
