Could somebody please educate ignorant Americans on here, as well as in their own country, and their POTUS, that Europe is NOT one country and EU is not its government. Europe consists of 44 sovereign and independent nations, only 27 of which are members of the EU. And only 29 are members of NATO (I don't count Turkey as European nation). Most speak their own language and have their own history and culture. 

 

So, according to this new American strategy all European 44 nations (including Russia, yes, it is partly in Europe) face "potential civilisational erasure" by Trump and his incompetent government staff.

 

IMO, it's about time the Europe cut the ties to the country of ignorant clowns and stand on its own feet. After all, Europe has far superior war tech, technology in general, much more advanced social structure, and much higher culture than the aggressors across the Atlantic that had to subdue the native population for their own greed. And now they are looking to annex part of Europe (Greenland), and make Canada another province.... Say no more...

USA Immigration:

Trump is trying to enforce  USA immigration Laws, whether one likes them or not.  Laws and policies  that previous admins have chosen to ignore.  Though the respective previous admins swore to uphold ALL laws during their respective elected term, lib or con.

Citizens and politicians put their efforts into protests and rioting, rather than using their collective influence to modify or change existing immigration laws.  Instead, they allow media to incite protests or riots rather than using media to influence Congressional action with modifying immigration law.

 

Thai Immigration:

There was a time, that many of us recall, where Thai Immigration laws were not enforced and 5k THB could provide immediate relief to one's visa issues.

Now local Thai immigration authorities are enforcing Thai immigration laws and many violators have been deported, denied entry, or jailed.  Yet,  you don't see many local citizens rioting or protesting these actions.

 

I find it very disgusting that Countries being over-run by illegal immigrants have the time and ignorance to libel a foreign administration for enforcing the laws they were sworn to uphold.

Could someone here educate ignorant NON-USA individuals  The Americas include 35 Countries.  ( Learn about the 35 sovereign states of the Americas continents). Many with their own individual languages, customs, foods and laws.   The UNITED STATES of America is one of those Countries.   Go to many South America Countries and tell them they are not American.  If you have completed a basic education, this was more than likely covered.

What are you on about? I regard myself as European, as in continent of Europe, but a citizen of one of the 44 countries that constitute Europe.

 

My post was about the vast majority of ignorant USA citizens that believe that Europe is one country and EU is its government.

I am fully aware about the distinction between a continent and a country, go educate yourself.

 

Canadians for example are Americans, but unfortunately, in daily talk when you say Americans, it usually means the US citizens.

Just check all those YT videos that make fun of Americans. All of them mean US citizens.

 

I'm from Sweden, and so Swedish, but what would you call a citizen of US? USAish? There is no term. They call themselves AMERICANS, like there are no other sovereign nations in the rest of North and South American continent.

Trump has decided Europe no longer is a part of the world power elite. Look for a new G-5, consisting of the US, China, Russia, India, and Japan. I don't necessarily like it, but I always suspected that Trump would turn tail and retreat on China.

This American has been to every country in western and eastern Europe with the exception of Romania (couldn't get in at the time). In fact, I have travelled to about 80 countries around the world and speak multiple languages. So spare us your nonsense that all Americans are ignorant. A lot are ignorant just like anywhere else and a lot of Swedes are ignorant and stupid. I know because I've been there and encountered them.
