SEA Games Pattaya and Sattahip Events

Featured Replies

Does anyone have information about events in our area? I know that there are equestrian events at the Polo Club in Hua Yai (or is it Pong?), and rowing events in the same area. Also, I see posters up in Sattahip for sailing events - not specified.

I have looked at the SEA Games website, but (as far as I can see) there is no information about ticketing/prices/parking, etc.

If you have plans to attend any local events, please share some info.

Thanks.

At the  Na-jomtien  marina  there is a poster for  sailing competition at the football stadium !!  😋  I'll try to get a photo   before it disappears.

555 I think there could be some jetski and, maybe windsurfing events at Jomtien, but specific information is hard to find.

I don't think the organizers have done a great job of getting the info to the public (or, maybe it's just that I don't read Thai).

Looking at the events shown on TV there are loads of empty seats - even for the volleyball, which is normally a sellout when Thailand are playing.

Or, as Mrs CL says, perhaps people are less inclined to attend these events while there is a war going on with Cambodia.

What is the Jet ski competition?

Seeing who can get tourists to pay the most money for imaginary scratches on the paint..
