Things that go bump in the night.

  • Why if you started this thread only 3 months ago are you still rambling on about Pattaya?

Jealous Georgie?

Keep mopping and you may get there one day. At your age you probably have ten years left to make the dream come true.

Thank you for your service.

Also, a lot of us lead very quiet lives.  I don't drink or go to bars and have zero interest in the nightlife.  Usually up before dawn, go for a walk, and do all my grocery shopping before most wake up.  Not too hot and not much traffic that time of day. That is a side of Pattaya most tourists never see.

Great post--and the same with my spouse and myself.  I would say a big majority here in Pattaya are living quiet, regular lives away from the areas that get all the attention--both in the press and on AN forums.

Sounds boring

I feel empathy for you , actually probably more empathy for your spouse or I should say partner as they could identify as a male but Sir it's your life

Nowhere near as exciting as spending half your waking hours mopping floors.

Not boring--and you don't need to 'feel' anything for me, thank you very much.  Living a normal, everyday life needn't be boring.  I'm never bored and find there is always something to keep me interested.  At my age I treasure every moment and find something to do that I enjoy--whether it's reading a favorite author, working out, taking a swim, whatever.

In November spouse and I did a wonderful European cruise.  We quite liked the Celebrity Equinox--not too big or too small, for us.  Yesterday we got back from a visit to Shanghai--wish Bangkok would switch to electric motorcycles like SH has done.  With the electric motorcycles, and an ever-growing percentage of electric vehicles, the traffic noise was actually very quiet--and wonderful.  We got a taste of what cities will feel like once electric vehicles take over.  Today it's back to Pattaya to oversee our new house construction.  Life is good.  Have a nice day.
