KTB Next app

Is this app as bad as the reviews suggest? I thought about installing it as a good way of managing my account,  but after reading the reviews,  decided not to. I could just check using the ATM , but living in a different province now it costs me 15 bt every time.

Works fine for me, has done for many years.

You have to pay just to check your balance?

Where do I find such reviews?

In English?

Or you refer to the forum here?

Did a quick browse here about KTB app and didn't find anything specifically bad?

There might be the usual hurdles of installing / registering.

Facial recognition?

I went to the official KTB website site , then followed the link to the app download. Before downloading I read through a few of the reviews,  and they were all bad - problems with face recognition and the app just not working.

I recently had to replace my phone whilst overseas for 2 years. Luckily I regularly backup my phone data. I have a number of different Thai bank apps - all of them except the KTB app failed to work after phone data reinstall. The others needed me to attend their branch offices when I returned to Thailand. Forever grateful for the KTB app, saved me enormous grief.
