I had two house mates during college, they were both sent by the Iranian government to pursue science in chemistry and nuclear, at first they were very reserved and after a few weeks they were becoming polar opposites of each other Hamid was 100% loyal to what he was sent to do and would never converse with anyone, Mohamed was by nature very friendly and had a hunger to integrate and interact with everyone, I took him on a week long hunting trip with my friends and that really ticked off Hamid. Hamid was constantly scolding him for being too friendly to us infidels the point that Mohamed was in fear of returning to Iran because he knew Hamid was going to report on Mohamed’s rebellious conduct. Don’t know what ever became of those two, but most certainly have a pretty good idea of what Hamid been up to over the decades.

Don't know what their situation was. Did they not follow up on asylum hearing ? Have legal council to propose alternative country at asylum hearing, IF THEY attended. Hiding in a sanctuary city. Did ICE have warrants for them, or in the wrong place at the wrong time.
