Ask an agent

I am using an agent now. The hospital news was better today so hopefully I can attend immigration with my agent.

I know Bangkok Hospital Pattaya has staff that will assist people with their visas while they’re in the hospital.

get letter from doc at hospital saying you cant travel and why, if you have partner [ who speaks thi ] phone and aske for next step. [have been doing for last couple of years, c .ancer and lo oxygen no problem

I have overheard an immigration telling an obviously quite frail older guy, that he could get an officer to come visit him. This would doubtless involve a "fee". I would call immigration before paying an agent.

In most reputable hospitals they check and see if you are okay visa wise and 90 days. They help you get it sorted so you have one less thing to worry about.
