I’ll be in Chiang Mai this weekend with my new GF. I’ll swing by to Nimman and take my ex and my current out for sushi.

If I do this, should I take a pee break in the middle to let them have a good talk, or pee as soon as I get there, and then hold it in until the end?

Has anyone noticed Grab food ads that cannot be clicked off, obscuring the site and rendering it unusable?

Sometimes I have to try three or four times to just dodge it by luck and finally view the forum.

And yes, I have block pop offs clicked on my phone.

What do you hope to achieve by having the two women meet?

My ex is my best friend. And my new GF has a best friend kind of vibe about her too.

My ex went completely off men. So there’s no stress on that end. She feels bad about the breakup. She’s really happy to see me happy.

And I think this is going to be a serious relationship, so everybody may as well know everybody else in case I get hit by a car or something.

My ex is a white American woman, age 61. My new GF is a Bangkok woman age 58.

I am getting older, and they are getting a little bit younger. No, can’t fault Thailand at all.

Any sociological insights as to how the new GF will view my ex ex-wife? We already talked it to death and there are no other shoes to drop.

Both have their own income source, although I give a little bit of money to my ex until she sells the house.

You are supposed to date a 25yo to 40yo in Thailand. Thats the whole point of going there.

Well, it is easy to not be 70 yet, and think how it would be to be single again, and thats nothing I want, but we can not control the future. First you have to walk the talk, and see whats coming.

I hope Im settled for life, but nothing is sure, so we all have to live and see.

Sex in my 50ies is not the same as my 20ies, or 30ies, it is better, and that gives hope, if we even botter having sex when we reach our 70ies, we will see. As said, we do not know yet, but you do.

Marriage have som much more values than just the sex, but again, sex is better than ever even after 10 years soon since we met first time.

I made three trips to the well on Sunday. One was assisted by Cialis. My all-time best was four times in a day, back around 2010.

So I feel like the Paul Simon of sex. They thought he was done after Bridge of troubled waters, but then he went on to the triumph of Graceland and whatever else he did; I’m more into jazz and stuff.

At 73, it’s harder for me to come, but I can still do the business and then some.

I thought I would go to the grave with my wife. I think in late age, the man needs the relationship more. I definitely see that on this board.

I spent the last two years quashing down my neediness. And now I’m with a similarly self contained, self nurturing person.

It’s like a self help speech that would have the theme, the worst thing that ever happened to me, turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me.

So I say, sashimi platters for all. I wouldn’t mind if my wife got a new guy in her life.

She joined the white woman’s weaving collective in Chiang Mai. There are now more retirees weaving tribal textiles than there ever were tribal people doing it. They are not so much preserving the craft, as they are replacing the crafts people.

That’s basically the same as being a lesbian, but without the licking part.

It’s a very chaste enclave of old white women who are very happily and cheerfully done with men. The women’s lunch at the Freebird Café is where they all hang out, getting tarot card readings.

I wish her well. I bought her her loom. The new one is gagging to see it. I hope that’s not an imminent sex death sign.

She knows I give her money. She even knows the amount.

She’s all for it. It shows loyalty.

Which is a hard commodity for Thai women to come by from white men.

Probably depending of, if you ex and your current are both Thais...

To my knowledge and experience – the latter down to one case only – an ex-Thai don't like to meet a new one that has taken over her former money-source...😉

However, my current Thai girlfriend met my ex-foreign girlfriend, and that worked out extremely well, they became best friends...👍

So, about your pee break (if they both are Thais): I wouldn't take one neither as soon or in mid – me, I would do my peeing before ex and current meet, and hold it until the end...🫣

My experience – as mentioned above – was extremely positive. Ex foreign girlfriend 6 years younger than I, current Thai girlfriend 32 years younger. The two ladies shared much time together when we were in Europe, and the ex came several times to visit us in Thailand, and staying in our house when we got one built. Unfortunately my ex died from cancer 7 years ago.

Only downside was when we were travelling together – the 3 of us – booking a double room and a single room. My ex's luggage would end of in the double room together with mine, while the presumed daughter's luggaget got to the single room...🤣

At your age I doubt you have much say in when and where you pee.

Just go with the flow so to speak....
