A Warm Welcome For Begsaresponse

Featured Replies

Although he has 600+ posts, he never heard about this subforum for the matured poster who likes to endulge in sophisticated discussions. Begs will for sure fit well into our civilized society as he reads all posts at least 5 times before posting to ensure his high level of self-moderation.

Welcome Begs.

Wow !! 5 times, huh ?

That's at least 5 times more than me. I wonder if it shows. :o

Thanks for the welcome. I will do my very best to slip into your 'civilised society'.

And of course bring a warm flavour of my own! :o

Yaaay

(I had to re-type that 5 times to make sure I got the spelling right)

Begs reads posts five times and then double posts. Good idea - keeps the count up. Welcome Begs!

Another mendicant.....Bah humbug..........................Well OK welcome.

I had to look that up in the dictionary, and was mildly amused at the pronunciation guide; men-di-kunt :o

Welcome Begs, see you and Mrs Noodles tonight.

I'm not impressed by the pronounciation guide - for Englsh speakers amongst us, it's men-di-kant!

Oh, and welcome to begsy!

I am afraid I agree with suegha on this point.

Afraid for the simple reason I may upset him because my command of any language is strictly limited, but I assure you he is right.

Ah, thanks moss - even though your comment on your command of language is strictly <deleted>! :D:o

Welcome, old bean! Make yourself at home. As long as you don't take yourself too (hang-on; at all!) seriously, you'll be fine. :o

Oh and, by the way, don't mention spank-paddles, ok? Mum's the word...

Nope..................men-di-cant, is shouted to the staff, shortly before the port is passed on mess nights. I will not comment on when in Ireland, men-di-kunt is shouted, as this is a family forum and it's Tiggers birthday ( Mrs Tigger I'm sure is a sensitive lady ).

Mrs Tigger is indeed a sensitive lady. What she ever saw in me is a mystery! :o
