Kan Win

Good luck

Thank you very much

I look forward to your reply

Best Regards

I don't do it because it's stupid (kwai). You're not writing a letter to a loved one; you're just posting in an anonymous, informal forum.

you're just posting in an anonymous,

Not always anonymous

informal

Do you never sign informal notes, queries, memo's, letters etc??

Greetings and salutations,

In this medium I don' really see the point of signing off. Essentially a posters avatar and username are an all encompassing means of introduction and sign off. Due to this you will never find me posting as I would if writing a letter.

Give my best to the family.

Kind regards,

Chili

Surely your sig is your sign off!?!

ด้วยความกรุณาและสันติสุข

Grace & Peace

:o Doh! I had sigs turned off and didn't realise I still had the same one I entered back around the time I joined the forum.

I dont sign off, because my nik is clearly stated on the left, and its not like im using my real name in any case. Of course I sign off on pm's and other things were I am addressed solely. Also, with forums, topics are often ongoing, like a conversation, so seems a little odd to me to be honest. Its although im taking to someone and they keep saying something like "yes I agree. *insert own name*". :o It also comes across to me like the person believes what they have said is of great importance, thus wish to finish it off with their nik to confirm 'said by me', but thats just my wibbly wobbly perspective on things.

What? Eek isn't your real name? :o

:D

No, it's Geek, but she wanted something that rhymed! :D

good thanks. Just catching up on reading here.. It's been ages since I've been online.

I am planning a big update on "my" thread - The one where I prove how loving, devoted and faithful I am and what a dilemma this goodness is to me.

Just got a few things to take care of first offline.

is the topic title typo deliberate?

In which case I leave you with:

*Sigh*

Haha well spotted! Didnt notice that...and welcome back :o

Signing off with a sigh I think would often seem appropriate.

So ill join you on that one.
