NormanW
Tony getting excited before we went out on our bikes. He confirmed that the mid-range torque on the 2012 bike is better and I confirmed his 2009 race bike was a delight to ride. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c91lhZZ9F-s&feature=g-upl&context=G2a8d11eAUAAAAAAAAAA

My brand new Dunlops for his part worn Bridgestone 003s. I kept the Rossos for a later date. Edited February 24, 2012 by NormanW

NormanW
Fuses Arh, the lights All glued into position using either black or clear glue. All joints soldered and then wrapped in a heat shrink sheath (try saying that when yer drunk hahaha). Places where lights are ; under main seat, hugger, under front mud guard, under headlight, behind air intakes and behind radiator cowls. NormanW
Should have gone for a massage while I was waiting eh? Next time hehe. Total cost including 2 litres of oil, a bottle of coolant and both tyres changed round - 2800 baht. WOW! This place is a steal. Go was also approached by the KTM dealer in Central World to see if he wanted to set up a KTM dealership in Pattaya. So, you heard it here first - a new KTM dealer coming soon

karlos
A bit of sediment I'd flush that out if i were you mate, it's not going to cause much in the way of damage but i wouldn't want that coating and insulating the outer walls of the cooling tracts

BigBikeBKK
A bit of sediment Yeah... I was going to say the same as Karlos- not normal to have sediment like that, especially on a brand new bike. While I know the mechanics at Kawasaki Mityon have a rather poor reputation, if I were you I'd insist they flush and refill your system. Ride On! Mine's over it's 6k service now, i was told to come back a week later after taking it to them last Monday with 5997km on the clock. She now has 6400, might have 7000 when i take it in on Wed next week. They said it's their fault for not being available, so will knock the excess KM's off when they jot down the mileage
NormanW
So I swapped my Dunlops for Bridgestone 003s with Nickymaster and found them to be a bit hard. I decided to check to tyre pressures after getting them changed round. To my horror the garage (not BP Racing) had put in 51psi in the front and 47psi in the rear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say they are now at the correct pressure for me 32 front 35 rear WOW, what a difference and I was thinking all sorts to do with tyre compounds and suspension settings 555. Keep those good times rolling

Keep those good times rolling over inflation of tyres seriously popular in thailand ,nearly every time i let someone near the tyres theyre inflated to bursting point i never let them near my wheels anymore at garages
Briggsy
Norman Although the numbers do shock me, the fact that they did it does not. All Thai mechanics (and drivers) overinflate tyres. The harder the better! This is Pattaya Kawasaki, is it? They do seem to do a lot of work in the alley between the 2 buildings. It does not appear to be the optimal work area. A requirement to brake heavily on a less than perfect road surface or pushing it hard into a corner could have seen you skittering on to your side there.
