Does anyone have the address for the land transport office in Uthai Thani ? Thanks !

For postal use:

DEPARTMENT OF LAND TRANSPORT

24 MOO 3

UTHAI THANI - NONG CHANG RD.

T. NAM SUEM

A. MUEANG UTHAI THANI

61000

Address in Thai, tel. nr. etc. on the bottom of this site:

http://uthai.dlt.go.th/

The address is the first line below the big red line (from the bottom up).

Phone: 0-5651-3161

Google shows a useless map entry. Will try to find something better.

Hand drawn map in Thai:

Can't find anything better. On Google Street view I can not find/see it.

How many transport departments in Thailand? I can add this information to thaidriving.info to collect information in one place.

That might be a huge task even only gathering addresses, tel. no. of all DLT in English on one site.

Not 100% sure, but seems like each of the 76+1 provinces has at least one office.

And sure: more than one in some provinces, of course in Bangkok but also in Khon Kaen e.g.

I tried to find a complete list with addresses on the main DLT website.

So far to no avail and maybe just dreaming.

Also as you know, English content in the websites is quite scarce and the sites are more than heterogeneous.

The street view is correct. Big purple building. The hand drawn map was pretty useful. DLT is about a mile past the Toyota dealer, on the left.

Not very crowded compared to Nakhon Sawan. Got my original, now 2 year license in about 3 hours total.

Yes , you are supposed update your licence, I think the admin fee is 50baht, remembering the licence serves as an ID card so needs to be up to date. But if no one checks then who knows?

Had a New passport a couple of years ago, never gave it a thought, so was the only extra thing I had to go and get a photo copy of the 1st page with the written details of old passport number transferred to my new passport.

Cannot remember 5 years ago...... time before that was a different type of machine... but this time was asked what ... in UK the Traffic lights colours are Red, Amber and green.. told I had to say Yellow..!! asked 2 different Thais later, what colour is Amber, they had no idea...
