exciting it was,the result was in doubt till the final 5minutes,wigan dug deep and deserved the win, with everyone showing great strenght.

a great weekend for british rugby league.eddie jones would like that.

arise TONY SMITH AND SHAUWN WANE.

Two great games;maybe the Australians hadn't prepared hard enough - how long had they been in-country?

tough game HULL FC.v cat.dragons, littered with foul after foul and a lot of bad referee decisions. 14-16

wigans game cancelled bad pitch and a storm on the way.

warrington on instead.

Sky replaced the cancelled Wigan - Widnes game with the Warrington - Castleford game, but Astro didn't show it, showing some Southern Hemisphere replay instead.

Superleague is looking like a great tournament this year, with Warrington losing both their opening games despite beating Brisbane, and Leigh taking the points against St Helens.  I'm pleased that they're holding their own, and it gives Warrington another derby game

TOOOOOOOOOOOOO painfull to watch,so early in the season and leeds can barely get a decent side together,on the other hand CAS are a side to be considered this yr. but 66-10 what can brian mac.be thinking about right now.

next thurs.its wigan v widnes bet it wont be so one sided.

Ho Ho - Yoo Byootie!  I'm catching up on the weekend's rugby recordings, and I've come across the Edinburgh - Ospreys game from Myreside with the commentary from BBC Alba in Gaelic.  I can't understand a word of it.

Though they've lapsed into English now.

Edit: Apologies for the off-topic digression

I've just finished watching Widnes draw with Catalans; I don't know when I last saw such muddy strips!

i have just caught up with some results,WOW who gave leeds a boot up the backside, and who cut the legs off the warrington side.

my mind has been elswhere the last week  as my beloved husky had a set back last friday.

he's coming back to form, must be on the same as the leeds players.

cas are doing well.

Warrington are really struggling.  I can't believe it's the same team that won so convincingly against Brisbane Broncos.  It seems like anything could happen this season - Leigh for the League Leaders' Shield?

great game this morning 3am.thai time, wakefield v leigh, leigh was expecting to win, well they did the first half 12-24.

but second half it was wakefield scoring 16points to nil. for a 28-24 win.

the last 10minutes i had the feeling leigh was about to lose their heads.

exciting.

Warrington's dismal start to the season continues.  It looks likely that they'll be in the Middle 8s come the end of the season.  Maybe I'll start supporting Leigh...

salford v st.helens gee the reds are doing great.

leeds v wigan another great game, wigan with a young side made leeds fight all the way, wigan had a few youngsters who need to keep the lid on their disaplin.

some great tries, some player that george williams.he will get some big offers from both codes.

Nice to see Salford getting some good results  enjoyed going to the Willows in the old days.

What a relief as Warrington claw their way back from 22-8 down to draw 22 all and get their first point at the Halliwell Jones.

Allan Rooney and Ray French were on top form.  Tony Smith will be spitting feathers at the slack and reckless handling in the first half.  I reckon they should be focussing on the Cup this season, but maybe they should be focussing on finishing in the top half of the Middle  8s

WIGAN lose to CAS tooooooooooo many big guns, they [cas] look like a team to be reckoned with.

I watched the recording of Warrington Wakefield yesterday - I'd have posted earlier but I was too breathless.

It's been a cracking season, with a lot of surprising results and very close.

I'm hoping Warrington can get into the Top 8; there's still a long way to go

It's good to see the Yorkshire teams doing well - for too long Leeds were the only ones carrying the Yorkshire flag

wigan done both,great game..

next up leeds v warrington who have won 7 and drawn 2 of their last nine after a awfull start, were up for it at headingley.

with leeds getting beat by cas last week they too were looking to welcome tony smiths side.

so just when you thought it was safe to go out and face leeds:shock1: this happened LEEDS 40-WARRINGTON 0.

I've not seen the game yet, and I think I might delete the recording without watching it, rather than hide behind the sofa for 80 minutes

i have managed to keep the lid on the excitement, but after thursday's game 84points scored, 50 of them by LEIGH it must be over 37yrs.

since the days of MR.RUGBY LEAGUE himself have they scored a win against WIGAN.is he still alive SC.

love him or hate him you had to admire him.

salford came unstuck last night against H.F.C.

i forgot to mention a few weeks ago about that young thurston lookalike playing for leeds,is it grayson? he is the best prospect i have seen for a long time.leeds got him for at least 5yrs.exciting.

What a game!  35 years since Leigh beat Wigan, and it was a comprehensive win.

I'm losing enthusiasm because there's so few games on at a time I can watch live, but maybe with the Club union season finished that might change.

It's a very close league this season, with the bottom teams coming up with some remarkable wins
