I think it would have been a very bad idea for me to have worked in a Record Shop. I would have no time dealing with customers but only listen to music

This was the first album I ever bought from Virgin records. Sent off thirty bob by postal order (double album) and lo and behold  a week or two later the album  arrived  encased in brown corrugated paper with hard cardboard outside. Exciting times for a 14 year old schoolboy in Rutland
