I wish mine would hurry up and arrive. sad.png

When did they tell you you would be receiving the bike?

At the expo the guy said end of january. the guy at Kawa realmotosports BKK thought it might be longer but really he wasn't sure.

Well if the deposit slip says the end of January then you should have it buy the end of this month. Well good look and keep us informed.

Hmm Kawasaki CM have no oil filters in stock for the N250

Say they are back ordered from Bangkok & have no idea when they will get them.

Guess I will have to source some myself aftermarket brands?

Wonder how this all works warranty wise?

If I service myself & keep receipts I wonder if anything should happen ( not likely I think )

will warranty still be honored?

Kawasaki rama 9 are not very strict about the warranty IME

i brought in a second hand er6n that had missed a service by about 13,000km and they were cool about it

manager said dont worry , its still covered by warranty until 24,000km or two years from purchase date

and they serviced it for me and filled in the blanks

Thanks YYY

Guess I will just change oil for now & look for a filter too

Hopefully they get some soon.

I guess it is different than the previous N250's

That is the only problem with newly released anything.

Sometimes the parts etc are not up to full speed yet.

they are the same tires on cbr250 all i know.

Man, i really do not like those tires. They get warm so slow and the profile of the tires are on flat side.

Just change them after 1000 km once your bike is fully broke.

Pirellis or michelin sports will fit you well on twisties up North Mania, just go for it.

Yes I noticed the CBR250 runs those too.

Profile seems ok but compound does not give much feedback to rider

Seems on the hard side. when pushed they do not really give indication of being close to the

edge of breaking loose IMO Which I do not like

So yes tires in the future. I do see Pirelli for sale here in quite a few spots

I like michelins too but have not noticed them here.

Either would be fine though.

keep in mind, michelins are cheaper than pirellis and much more common in Thailand - maybe in Bangkok though!.

But Pirellis last longer what i know.

Any of these brands will be thousand times better that stock IRCs anyway.

Oil Filters Maa Leo smile.png

Service tomorrow

BTW I was going to go buy a K&N oil filter tomorrow as I found a place here selling them

400 baht. But then got the call that the filters arrived at dealer & got scheduled for tomorrow

Kawasaki does the 1000km service with oil & filter etc 200 baht total.

Good deal

Hey Mac looks like Kawasaki has some new Green N250's

maybe yours is arriving in BK too !

Don't bother with the K&N oil filter in future mate, no benefits at all over the stock unit which works out cheaper to buy anyway.

Some Pirelli Rosso II's could be the best purchase you'll ever make. Fantastic dual compound tyres which are capable of track day shenanigans too. :)

Yes I agree about oil filters. I was just worried Kawasaki was going to be slow to tool up the spare parts & did not realize how fast they would go.

Will go in tomorrow & get the oil & filter changed + their little all points check....200 baht

Cant complain

You know in the US I read guys are paying 130-190 USD for their 1st check on the N300

Big difference when the workers get a few hundred baht a day compared to 700 or so baht an hour smile.png

Those Pirelli Rosso's are top on my list so far. Everything I have read about them is positive

Have you done 1000kms already?

850 or so maybe a little more after tonight

I wanted to change earlier but they were out of the filters

PS: I will take note of how many greens they have in

I am betting you get yours in this week or soon

Mac at the dealer today I only saw two greens & one may be a workers bike even though it is

in the line up of new bikes.

I say so because it had a steering dampener installed.

Also the other green one in the showroom does have a name hanging so is sold.

Maybe I was wrong about anymore having come in.

This could just be a straggler.

Ok I completely misunderstood on the phone the other day. (All spoken in Thai )

Still a very cheap price IMHO but 907 Baht not 200 Baht for oil, filter & various checks.

I guess the 200 baht was just the filter or labor not sure.

Also while there I saw a couple of trashed 2013 N250's

Not making fun of beliefs but

You know I did smile just a little because both bikes had the good luck blessing marks.

Also on the black one it tore the shifter right off & there looked like a hole in the lower side cover

The red had more fairing damage & also bent the shifter into a U

I guess this is why the N250 had high priced 1st class insurance for such a small bike?

Another thing I noted.....I always look at tires to see how far the riders lean their bikes.

Both of these bikes were not leaned over much at all. Both had 1.5 inches of strips/untouched

tire both sides

So I am guessing just overcooked something or inexperience I dont know.

Feel sorry for any rider tossing a new bike though

Both bikes look like they flipped a few times as both sides had a lot of damage

One more Ninja an older one was there too as a crash bike repair or insurance estimate??

But it had frame sliders & seems to have helped a lot. except for the upper sections.

Here are some pics.....

haha some just underestimate "big bikes" about 2 weeks after the realease if the ER6X i was at the dealer and they had 3 new crashed models already. Not really funny but again a poor fact for this country.

hili, how do you assume it is a fact special for Thailand?

It is same everywhere in this world i am sure.
