Anyone know where to get a small concrete mixer, similar to the one pictured here. I live near Chiang Rai but not so far from Chiang Mai.

They have one small unit at Global house in CM but it was really low to the ground and not suitable for dumping to a wheelbarrow.

Second hand will do as well.

Can I ask where you found it?

In Chiang Rai. If you go up the road from the old bus station to the highway, just before the end there are two hardware stores on the left. It was at the first one. and there was one across the street as well.

Go with a Thai style concrete mixture.

I spent way too many hours last year mixing Thai style. I am very glad o have moved on from that.

The new mixer is sweet. The wheelbarrow can hardly keep up with the mixer.

Sounds like time for "site dumper" which is about 55,000 baht made in Thailand, manual dump, not hydraulic, you easily connect your existing Kubota or Kwai Thong engine, and you can easily move and dump concrete (or all sorts of farming materials) or scoot about on this "LOUD quad". Our home builder had no such device, only a series of often repaired wheel barrels that seem to take forever to transport concrete.
