Parinya urges PM to dissolve House

BANGKOK: -- Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra should dissolve the House in two days now that she has met anti-government rally leader Suthep Thaugsuban on Sunday and the commanders in chief of the three armed forces, Parinya Thewanarumitkul, vice-rector for student affairs at Thammasat University, said Monday.

He said on 97.0 radio station that House dissolution is the best solution to bring Thai societ out of the current crisis. It will be like a "cutout" switch that can save democratic system from the special powers interference.

"Now the game is not over, even if Suthep said that the resignation of the prime minister and a House dissolution was not enough to satisfy the protesters. He may think that the protesters are taking advantage of the game. I believe that the second round of negotiations could happen if both sides know that they have not gained advantage," he said.

Bones on burnt out bus believed to be human bones

BANGKOK: -- The forensic police inspecting the burnt out bus and the remains of bones inside the bus toilet now believed the bones belonged to human.

The police believed the bones belonged to human because the bones found were similar to the heel foot bones of a human.

Moreover they discovered a burnt-out iPhone phone and a belt buckle inside the charred remain of the bus toilet.

They suspected the victim might be in the toilet when the bus was attacked by angry mobs yesterday.

However they said they needed to take the bones back for detailed laboratory test before confirming it.

Meanwhile the police investigators inspecting the clash scene at Ramkhamhaeng university also said the Ramkhamhaeng university student killed in the shooting was from those coming to join the protest and not from the police guns.

The student was shot by a 11 mm pistol, while two other red-shirt supporters also were not killed by the police guns.

Investigators said some of them might carry guns into the rally.
