I'm not claiming to bit have a a drink that evening, I am saying the amount consumed does not warrant they loss of control, something else was added.

Fact Blood pressure, I think anyone with a blood pressure of 40 over 20 would be unconscious. What is your opinion here ? It was not caused by internal bleeding as due to the lie blood pressure they looked meticulously for it but found none.

Which one came first, the alcohol, or you falling asleep?  I would say the alcohol caused you to fall asleep.

As for your blood pressure, probably a faulty sphygmomanometer and/or nurse. :)

So your saying the machine reading my blood pressure was faulty. Is beyond belief. Relief I can relax now a little, I think I catch your drift, not to take you serious, I hold my hat off to you Mr IceMan, you had me going there for a bit but I know your in it cause you love the debate !!! Take care.

Give that man a prize - but not a beer.  smile.png   He finally gets it.  It's a slow day on TV. :)

We'll keep it between us that we both know you were plastered.  smile.png

Credit to you for the drink spiking alibi - I'm sure you will start a new trend.

@ Chainsaw

"Arran has been totally upfront and honest with everyone on the forum" - no, he is claiming to be a victim of crime, rather than the perpertrator of one.  Big difference.

His story reminds me of Thai's blaming "brake failure."  biggrin.png

...and you have no information to prove your alternative theory but you keep banging on about it as if your 'humble' opinion has some merit and is the only one worth listening to.

You've made your opinion very clear, and that's all it is, your opinion.

Now do you see what I mean about being pedantic and patronising?

His story reminds me of Thai's blaming "brake failure."  - What a low comment. How far will you go to get your digs in at this man?

I've made my point.

What information do YOU have to suggest alcohol was not a factor?

My opinion is worth the same as yours on TV - zero.  smile.png

"pedantic and patronising" - no one forces you to read this thread.  If you can't handle it - don't read it.

So, when a Thai blames "brake failure" the forum lights up with sarcastic comments about the drivers BS story, but when a foreigner blames "drink spiking" we have to believe it.

Well, I don't believe it, and have told Arran I don't believe him, and have given him my reasons.  He seems fine to debate it with me.  I don't know what your problem is with it.

You see, if he had died, the mods would say, "have respect for the family who may be reading this" and remove any post that suggests the deceased foreigner was drunk at the time of the accident.

Since the driver is still alive, I/we are able to say, "the accident happened because you were drunk" and that's all I am saying. smile.png

Anyway, this thread will make Arran a celebrity.  Next time he is in the bar/s - people are going to ask him, "So, what really did happen that night?"  laugh.png

I made my point. Try reading it again slowly.

I gave no opinion about whether Arran was drunk or not because I don't know! Neither do you.

My point was about you being patronising and pedantic. I'm not going to keep explaining it to you.

Now who's being "patronising and pedantic?"

Pot - Kettle.  smile.png

Has anyone heard is this guy recovering

He is participating in this thread, ArronP, so he seems to be OK.

Thank you for the concern.

Yes. Still some bruising mostly under the chest. Sitting up and lieing down the mist difficult, ankles feet and toes still a little swollen. But able to get about ok.

Over in lanta with girl friend at the moment , our twins boys are due to be born on the 11th.

Just finished my first massage since the accident, feeling relaxed.

Picture from where I'm sitting.

Just contact some bodyshops, they may be interested.

But didn't you have 1st class insurance? Because if you did, the wreck belongs to the insurance company.

There are creases in the rear of the body.  It's not even good for a "cut and shut."

There doesn't appear that there is much that could be salvaged from the wreck.  Maybe the differential, rear bumber, rear wheels and spare, rear hatch  and rear lights.

It may only be good for scrap metal.

The Registration(Blue)book, cut out chassis No's and Vin plate (probably not essential ) are worth more than you think.

no sympathy ..just another idiot who think driving at high speed has no impact on others

Personally, the high speed seems to be the side issue..

Are you suggesting the OP become involved in the rebirthing of a stolen vehicle?

I'm sorry that's utter nonsense, denial is not a river in Egypt. See my post in the motoring forum. Especially in reference to sudden dangerous blood pressure drops in use with Viagra.

I respond to your post in the other forum and am interested in discussing this with you further.

  • 4 weeks later...

This link has absolutely nothing to do with your actions on the night of your accident, despite what you would like members of this forum to believe.

Exactly."Reports of drink spiking in bars around Soi Bangla have been reported over the years...", but there is not any proof of it .Been coming here for 20 years and never heard of it,neither has anyone else.

you're joking that will back on the road in a few months.

I am glad you apparently survived..I say survived and not escaped serious injury as you still seem to be having delusions.,

For the sake of your children who I am sure care for you it may be better if you cut down the time you spend in bars drinking or otherwise.

Thank you Harry, I'm not a big drinker.
