Family of Brits murdered in Thailand say evidence convincing

Much respect to those who have stated they will stop the BS conspiracy theory talk after reading the victim's statements and instead wait for the trial ... shame on those who continue with nonsense.

We can respect the victims' families while concurrently discussing things. If you want to see nonsense, look at the reenactment.

You have nothing but assertions that demonstrate poor critical thinking skills.

Shield the Headman's people if you so choose. To continue to do that, you are required to dismiss any evidence which might implicate the Headman's people.

It's funny how one set if CCTV is relieved upon as evidence and yet another's is dismissed ?

Not so funny. One CCTV was v. likely tampered with, the other, from the island, was probably not tampered with.

I'm not shielding anyone, I'm asking you to produce the evidence that you claim exists that places Nomsod at the crime scene and him as the murderer. If anything, by not showing that evidence, it is YOU who is protecting him by not doing so.

If it's proven, that DNA on victim matches the Burmese DNA, then that's damning evidence against the B2. However, to believe that, we must believe what Thai officials claim to be DNA taken from Hannah. If Thai officials are orchestrating a frame-up (which I think they are), then the DNA trail they put forth is suspect. It would be v. easy for Thai authorities to intentionally skew the DNA trail, if they chose to do so.

These are same Thai officials who claim the hoe was used to wound David, despite David's wounds indicating a different weapon, and none of David's DNA found on hoe. These are the same officials who either won't look at reams of potential evidence, and who won't pursue leads that any half-competent detective would pursue. Alternatively, perhaps they did pursue some leads, but found evidence which would implicate one or more of the Headman's people, so naturally, didn't want that evidence to surface.

That's why many of us, who are concerned for justice, would like to see/hear what Brit authorities have regarding DNA. We're led to believe they did DNA analysis, but only a select few know for sure. We do know, however, that Thai authorities and some former prime suspects won't share DNA data with the Brits. We also know that one of the prime suspects was walking around the crime scene hours after the crime. So, at best, the Brits will have just a part of the DNA puzzle.

This case is not just about the victims' families. Neither is it just about Thai officials getting big pay-offs or saving face. It involves the general public as much as anyone else. The general public deserve a more adept investigation and they deserve more disclosure. Reason: if rapists/murderers are still in the public domain, then others could get raped and murdered by them. I hope the judge will have that in mind when he weighs all the factors in this case.

Miller also suffered wounds on his hand, indicating a struggle had taken place, police said. A bloodstained garden hoe found near to the scene of the murders is believed to be the murder weapon. In another development, police said that a pair of bloodstained pants had been found in Miller's luggage. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/sep/17/thailand-murders-two-british-brothers-questioned-koh-tao

As for the pair of stained pants found in Miller's luggage, the general admitted that the substance found on the clothing was not blood and that they belonged to Miller and the pair had been put in the victim's luggage by the first group of police officers. http://www.nationmultimedia.com/national/Killers-will-be-caught-30243629.html

And people wonder why we question the statements and evidence provided by the police?????????

ok, I'll take the bait. I should quit writing for awhile, as I've already posted so often on this topic. Re; Nomsod and his buddies who I think were likely at the scene and perpetrators of the crime. You've seen what I think, and I've been quite specific. It's your choice whether you want to go with it or not. You've chosen not to. Ok, so be it.

Let's see what the trial reveals. It's the arm-in-arm force of the military government + RTP + millionaire headman + his cop friends and family, all standing in a monolith ......against two small Burmese guys who, thankfully, have some legal counsel, .....which they didn't have when compelled to sign confessions which they couldn't read.

The prosecution has been amassing 'evidence' (is it contrived? It's mainly up to the judge to decide). Is the judge objective and fair-minded and not beholden to the combined force of the military, politicians & police? Doubtful, but again, it's each individual observers' choice to decide for him or herself. That evidence is kept secret from the defense, until it's sprung upon them. More deception, built in to the justice system.

Wasn't there 3rd DNA found on Hannah nippple ? The same DNA that matches the cigarette butt?

You mis the point JTJ that DNA does not indicate not being at the murder scene it indicates no sexual contact took place.

Now on the other hand there would have been DNA from both victims from the personal belongings of the alleged perpetrators And in their room too

How do you know what DNA was found in the room? How do you know whose finger prints were found on the phone? Do you recall the families saying there is a lot more evidence we don't know about? By the way, a simple swim on the ocean after the attack would have removed any DNA and there bodies would have been washed by the time police arrested them and would not contain DNA but could contain blood stains if they had not discarded their cloths.

THEIR SEMEN WAS FOUND IN THE VICTIM never heard of a 3rd DNA found on her nipple that didn't match the semen but we are talking early reports when lots of stuff was being said and leaked.

If you want to believe their semen is in the girl but they didn't murder the two go right ahead. They may have had consensual sex, raped her then somebody else came along and murdered her or they raped her corpse --- all HIGHLY implausible but possible and kind of sick to the extent this goes to suggest their innocents but that is why the police have other evidence against them. Some we are aware and much we don't know as the families have stated.

I would have hoped that more than internal DNA from the alleged perpetrators would have been found ON Hannah, not just around her private parts but all over, such as skin tissue under her fingernails that matches.

Sweating whilst carrying out their attack would have also left traces of DNA too.

If all they have is marching internal DNA but nothing anywhere else If find that " odd".

Sorry but I doubt that a simple swim in the ocean washes off any DNA either. Do you have some scientific facts to back this up please? Or are you speculating and making an assumption?

Were these guys also not cleared first time around on the DNa tests too? If so how's that possible?

Wouldn't that sort of indicate that one was right and one was wrong? And the procedure didn't work?

"I think" it's not evidence, you said there is evidence of Nomsod being being linked to the crime, show the evidence.

Two innocent lives are at stake and a murderer on the loose (according to you), yet you don't produce the evidence that would set things right? What kind of person are you?

No but he's constantly going on about respecting the parents wishes but still responds to the threads !!

It takes at least two people to make a conspiracy theory one a believer and the other a doubter.

If he really wanted to respect the parents he would cease and desist all further comments on the case, but he won't because it's not on his nature to do so ?

Just like it's not on the theorists natures to stop either ....

IMO Yes jdinasia is pushing the biggest conspiracy theory of the RTP to convict innocent people of a crime commited by Nomsod and friends. We know that in this case the RTP have tried to frame 2 other suspects that were also innocent.

This is what the families asked for:

In the meantime however, we ask that the speculative theories circulating on social media are not taken as fact. These interpretations are based on incomplete evidence and substantial conjecture.

The increasing sensationalism of this story in the media is emotionally hurtful to us and appears to be wide of the mark.

jdinasia, me, and a few others have been calling out on those engaging on speculative theories, even before the statements from the families, so for you to say that stance is not in accordance to the parent's wishes is, frankly, preposterous.

Nope :)

You have a theory that there's a conspiracy. I have no such theory.

The amazing thing is that without any evidence, you claim not only to know that the 2 defendants are innocent, but also who is guilty. Please contact the defense and give them your evidence. I will wait for the trial.

Yeah...strange, isn't it?

Like that guy with the polar- bear in his avatar, who...oh...wait...

I said it before and I say it again: since my posts do not go to any eMail-account, connected to the 2 British - families -eg. they don't need to read any of this- I also have great respect for 2 other families in this case.

Yes...the ones, that you and the RTP- gang usually forget about: the families of the 2 suspects, who IMHO have been framed.

And it deeply troubles me, that we are in danger to see 2 more innocent victims in this case.

Therefor I reserve my right to think about this case, to inform myself and form an opinion.

And since this is a forum, open to discussion: that is what I do!

I really wouldn't mind, if you or others stayed away, though!

It probably isn't a good idea to close them but there 2 indivudual posters that are obsessive and are almost on 24 hours a day stirriing up 98% of posters both initials start with J .

Quite easy to find as they woiuld also have he most blocks against them.

Thank you

If this was just a routine murder investigation I would agree with you. But this is not routine, the case is being handled by a corrupt police force who have tried to frame 2 other suspects in this case. If you had any knowledge you would understand this is about justice. I think that is very important and so do the British and Burmese governments, amnesty international and many other human rights organisations.

I feel deeply sorry for the families of the victims but do not want the 2 Burmese families to suffer the same if an incorrect verdict is handed to the B2.

who says he was not on the island at the time? you?

Police who investigated after initally accusing him publicly (without fear), witnesses in Bangkok, time stamped video, the university where he was taking a test, himself, his lawyer --- just what we know was made public and only made public because of the nasty and ignorant conspiracy theorists who caused such hardship in his life for absolutely no reason except he was born to a small island headsman and some people made up BS ... including BS the police at first believed. Absolutely no evidence to suggest he was involved or that police covered for him if he was. In fact his DNA was taken and submitted to numerous labs and police showed very clearly they were not scared to publicly name him as not just a suspect early on but actually express confidence he was involved after people falsely said he was on the island and fled.

LOL "himself, his lawyer..." get real dude. who do you think was in the CCTV footage??? what witnesses in Bangkok? one was caught out lying as she was in Chonburi at the time as i recall. LOL "a small island headsman" with contacts all the way to the top...

to date there has been no proof submitted that he was not on the island and did not flee.
