Chiang Mai Police Hunting 'Serial Rapist'

CHIANG MAI - Police in northern Thailand are searching for a Thai man accused of committing two rapes and one attempted rape in the past month.

Pol.Maj.Gen. Montree Samboonnanond, commander of Chiang Mai police force, said the three incidents took place over the past several weeks near a highway in Doi Saket district.

According to police, the victims said they were driving motorcycles on the highway when a man pulled up alongside them, knocked them off their vehicles, and dragged them into wooded area on the side of the road. All three victims described the perpetrator as a Thai man in his early twenties, police said.

Pol.Maj.Gen. Montree said two victims were raped and the third victim managed to flee.

the photo being held up by the officer could be any of several 100,000 people, it would be hard to identify your father, brother or even sister from the quality of that photo. Maybe the officer is just showing his boss he is actually nright on the bottom of details /leads but he is at his desk working out the next plan of entrapment they can come up with.

where is this DNA base the police have been promoting as a real improvement in solving these types of crimes murders drug deals etc? ok maybe a mite premature but its on the way, mayne the present police forces' grandchildren will get the benfit.

this could be taken as a joke,no description of the car,or was he driving,

a motorcycle,not explained,they are going to have a lot more evidence

than reported here if they have any chance of apprehending the perpetrator.

Yes i DID see the composite which you refer to as original. I still detect a odor some may refer to as bad , while others say unpleasent. the presence of a policeman may even have some influence on either discription.
