The BTS is great.

Unless you were in BKK before the BTS - and working taxi meters.  Every trip was a skirmish with the evil lil mothers.

My specialisation is Sub Saharan criminality,  well,  one of them anyway. I can't comment in Criminality on other African areas. I lack the data.

The self-governing Western Sahara, the former Spanish Sahara is a place where you'll meet nice people who are ready for a chat. But only if Allah ( the village cop) allows them to talk to you.

And amazingly, even worse Mexican food in Mexico.

I like the shorter traps myself.  More authenticity.

Isn't Mexican food an American invention and the Mexicans just copied it?

Yes,  the Aztecs and friends ate Peyote,  drank chocolate, and Mescal, and chewed Charlie. What a life! Then the DEA was invented by some Dildo busybody with not enough crime on his hands, up north.

Air Asia  is always on time, but the night train to BKK is a better way to travel.

“I know she’d never rip me off bc she’s well educated and comes from a good family.”

(Most of us probably believe that, so it’s technically not a lie we tell ourselves. More of a naivety.)

My financial advisor manage s my money.  I don't think he would be the head of the local expat club without being totally trustworthy.
