My opinion would be no deal.

Mourinho's tapping up of Rooney has gotten rather ridiculous has it not? Threatening a player with the ramifications of him staying at his club? I know we live in a football world of constant unsettling of players but this is ridiculously OTT isn't it?

Interesting to hear what you have to say about Mata's name thrown into this because i cannot believe he would be a part of any deal. He's a better player than Rooney for a start! Well, imho anyway.
