They buy reliability....:P....oh, and it does have coil springs on a shorter chassis than it's truck counterpart...:)

Have to agree with you TA I have had my Spivo for 7 years now, and Nothing has gone wrong haven't even had a light bulb go. How reliable do you want.

Saying that have had a new set of tyres 6 years and two new batteries.

I think that you are a Toyota Person. That Sportivo looks nice and I prefer the front seat comfort to the EV.

The EV has parallel parking and now use it frequently ..it's brill. No gps on the EV screen is pity. I have to find somewhere to stick my phone ...am used to 'maps' now, in fact quite like it.

Yep go for Toyota ...you may have to wait a while for a 3.2EV ...if you go for EV wait for sync3 ...

I got parking feature in benz never use it. It doggy almost crashed itself

Maybe Benz should fit the Ford System. The system on the EV manages to park you even if you position the car badly initially. You think it's going to 'curb' your wheels but it doesn't...

Here is another review I just 'fell over' whilst looking for something else ...  http://www.drive.com.au/new-car-comparison/ford-everest-v-toyota-prado-v-toyota-fortuner-outback-4wd-comparison-20160822-gqyql4.html   posted Aug 26th.

www.fordforums.com.au is worth joining BUT you need to use a VPN if looking from Thailand.

Toyota only wins because it's significantly cheaper in Australia. In Thailand they're priced much closer so the Fortuner doesn't come close.

The Everest wins against the Prado for the same reason (and because it drives better).

Or contact the admin via email and ask them to set you up an ID manually.

They did that for you? ... they set my account up manually but I still need to use a VPN else it just gets blocked.

I agree with you. Everest and still closer compared to the Prado.
Fortuner must be compared with the Chinese car. especially old 3.0 diesel .

Fortuner has a new design 2.8 diesel....

yes its new so cant say any about reliability engine..

it is high-spirited. I liked it. but why  need thisfor truck?
the road is still a hulking vehicle
space on the rear seats for short people only.
in the Honda Civic is much more comfortable for passengers.
Off-road quality is worse than the old Fortuner. real offroad old Pajero sport better.

even the advantage of a quick sale and is already doubtful of loss in value.

These tests are for models from South Africa and Australia and their conclusions are influenced by pricing. Equipment levels and pricing are different so the overall test winner and spec comparisons are not necessarily relevant to Thailand.

Just picked TDR and it drives really good. Much better then normal ones and pajero and everest for me.
Great looks with extras

And gps works nice with live traffic.

Nice car:) need to start thinking upgrading my old Fortuner. Definitely like the TRD version.

Yes at least its got rear disc brakes. They really need to do something with the 3rd row of seats not folding flat. Apart from that it should have good service and resale compared to the everest.
