Before the new Thai Visa Upgrade, there was lots of info available on here for house plans, clearing land, making ready from ground up to complete finishing.

I desperately need that info now but I can't find it.

Can anyone help me or send me some links?

' coolthaihouse ' is best. Absolutely everything you need to know on this site with first hand accounts with pictures from many who have already built here.

Nothing has moved or gone since the upgrade, some photos have gone adrift but they should come back eventually.

 

The forum search function still sucks like it always has

OP you can still ask questions here if you want, some of the people haven't all gone away. 

Indeed Kw, it pays to ask in multiple fora to get a balanced view.

 

CTH is a great resource, but its electrical section seems to be dominated by a US view of things which doesn't really apply here.

 

 

Has westbounder found what he was looking for or was the asked for advice not really wanted ?

Regrettably CoolThaiHouse doesn't have anyone as knowledgeable as you as a regular poster in the electrical section. Most of the posts are not from professionals.

I'm looking for "Housebuilding Thread" topic # 481794 started by you on July 10, 2011.

I can find it via Google but can't carry it over to a webpage where I'm signed in--even when I copy/paste the URL or truncated portions of the URL.

And of course, the ThaiVisa search function is/has always been a total joke.
