CHIANG MAI: -- More trouble is on the horizon for a Thai celebrity caught up in the saga of the beating up of a major general's son at a Chiang Mai bar.

Ball, otherwise known as Kritsana Amitrasoon, who was thought to be in the toilets when a beating was handed out to the major general's 23 year old son outside by security guards, has a new problem.

He is rumored to be the owner of a hotel called The Core in the city that was raided by cops and the Chang Pheuak local authority yesterday.

The hotel was found to be operating without a license. The authority understand that it was originally opened as a monthly residence but when its use was changed to daily the license was not changed.

The manageress said that the hotel was in the process of applying for permission. But arrests were made as the authority said that it was accepting guests and this was currently illegal.

The owner of the hotel was referred to as Home Resort Co Ltd and neither Ball in person nor his name was anywhere to be found.

However Thai Rath reported that he was thought to be the owner. Ball is the young boyfriend of Thai superstar Aum otherwise known as Lakkana Wattanawongsiri.

The assault of the major general's son occurred at the Malin Sky bar that has now been shut down.

Well 10 of them will apply for a licence ...the others will wait for the knock on the door.

The owners of the other 50+ didn't make the slight error of beating the crap out of  General's son.

Should the Chiang Mai mafia don the saffron robes before it's too late?  It works for others.

There are many contradictions from Ball's side. Many videos of him and lukkana stating he is the owner of the core n malin sky and yet well the paperwork are checked, his name is nowhere to be found.

Whoever is backing him will have to give him up soon cos The Army will dig deeper n deeper into their affairs.

Even Prayut has spoken up and wants the culprits brought to justice on this issue

As of this afternoon I've seen a video on social media that Ball has quietly surrendered himself to the police.

Probably thinks he will be safer in police custody than out on the street.
