Thai Boys Name Suggestions

Featured Replies

We cant think of a nice thai name for our future son. It will be a middke name as his first name will be English. Would need to avoid names which sound iffy in english i.e. endibg chit, porn, etc just in case there are a few jokers on this forum lol.

Somchai, Terdsak or Terdpong always seem a popular choice .

... or Cockwomble.

What ever his name will be, make sure to raise him and teach him well to be a gentleman and an honest person...

At the risk of being flamed, I like Chatchai.

It's got some pizzazz, even without the tones.  Ports well over to English.  Spanish and Italian, too.

Edit:  Google Scott Baio for a reference.  Though he didn't spell it quite right...

Oh, and in keeping with the ambiance of the starting posts, my (distant) second choice would be Nutsak.

Thaksin, Phrayut? :giggle:

I always liked Niran and Prem. They probably mean something. If you name him James, you could always have Wattana as middle.

Chatchai seems the best so far. I dont want one of the most popular names either, perhaps I should have said that from the outset.

Congrats. I always liked the name Kacha and only people I met with that name were smart thai guys. I think it's prenounced Kasha. Looks a lucky name too so may please superstition.

'Morakot' or 'Prasert' or a funny one for the thread 'Sompong' or 'Terdtool'

I wanted to call our son Phuk, my wifes brother's name and a popular nickname in Thai.

Didn't happen.

My local Thai/Chinese takeaway back home is called Wun Phuk. I've often wondered

"Prayuth"   that would really go down well with the leadership

How about Keanu!

or neo?

I will move this to the family forum and leave a link.

I think it is attracting a lot of trolls.

I wanted to call our son Bear Grylles but my wife said no, because he's the British man on the TV that eats elephant shit lol

I already know a Fortuner and a Bread and more.

So, please....
