Thai junta to release new ‘unity mascot’ inspired by BNK48 idol girl group

After the military government’s mascot for unity, “Nong Kiewkoi,” was ridiculed for looking low-budget and absolutely terrifying near the end of last year, today the junta released the first sneak peek at the mascot’s brand new look.

The Ministry of Defense’s official Facebook posted a photo that shows half of the female mascot’s face. As you can see, Nong Kiewkoi, which translates to Miss Pinky, no longer has crazy eyes.

The caption said, “Prepare to meet the brand new Nong Kiewkoi, who will be back and continue her duty as the symbol of unity.”

Trump and Boris J will be tickled pink to know the sort of company the junta wants them to join . . . Miss Pinky, indeed.

And Thailand, a medium world power . . . pull my other one.

Realy?

No more pressing issues?

This crap, the stupid :history"- soap and "making Songkhran safe"!

If I would believe in God, I would wish he'd help this dumb country!

Amateurs. I was expecting something like the inventive precision of Kpop or Japanese girl band ones. But I see nothing but mannequins dancing in Thai TV commercial cliches. And this is the junta's inspiration? These people really need to get out of Thailand and look around.

Not very impressive and honestly a lost opportunity. The US Army has a mule, the  USN  a goat, the Australians have  a Tiger , an eagle and a kangaroo, the Canadians, English, & Scottish regiments have their goats too. There are also  dogs and horses. No one does their goats like members of the Commonwealth militaries. The Norwegians have one of the coolest, Sir Nils Olav, a penguin.  Thailand missed the mark by not doing something innovative like selecting  a soi dog (to highlight the need for compassion) or a gibbon, or even a song bird. Unfortunately, no, we  get a semi pornographic fake doll.

On second thought, maybe they made the right decision in not having a live animal. Someone  probably would  kill it and cook it for a snack.

That's a rotten idea.

He's a man of  great integrity. (I know  you were making a joke, but this guy  has built a tidy investment portfolio and has been rather honest in his dealings with everyone.) He may be outspoken and vulgar at times, but he is usually on the mark. He had  Jimmy Savile pegged from the get go and was the first person decades ago to blow the whistle but no one listened. He may be too honest and forthright for some to handle.

. . . and look around? Get out of Thailand, period, more like. Now that would be a plan to demonstrate their guile and reading the public mood.

I've nicknamed it Nong Canpissoff, by the way.

try adding some herbal remedy for it though I hear there's  quite  a  queue but that should sort out  your dollys  problems
