Safe..... Netflix made in UK...they have thrown all 8 episodes on the net..... at IMBD...its getting an astounding 9.3 which is always sus...... missing girl goes to a party not seen after that ...etc....etc

All English cast...but no one that has made a name yet........so.........9.3..............MMmmm

IMDB often gets kicked off with a 10/10 and then it falls as more ratings appear. Always wait a day before checking the IMDB score.

Oh sorry to hear that.

It was about the breakdown of a relationship over the 4 seasons. I thought the directing was extremely good.

Thanks anyway. Vive la difference..

I thought episode 1 was ok.

Will give it a few more episodes before I make up my mind on this one.

The star is the main character from dexter. He's American I think.

The guy with froggy eyes and short hair is called Marc something and he starred in a bbc drama years ago about con artists.

13 Commandments

Enjoyed the first episode of this new series from Belgium
Has embedded subs.

Summary: The series follows a team of detectives from the Belgium Federal Criminal Police in East Flanders as they investigate a series of gruesome crimes based on the 10 Commandments. Committing them is a self-proclaimed, modern-day Moses, whose intention is to jolt society’s conscience and bring focused attention to the values intrinsic within the Commandments, which he sees as having vanished from contemporary life.

Operation Odessa (2018) Documentary

In the early 1990s, three friends set out to hustle the Russian mob, the Cali cartel and the DEA for the score of a lifetime.

Quote

If you ever wondered what you’d get if you combined a Russian mobster, a Miami playboy, and a Cuban spy who once sold a Soviet submarine to a Colombian drug cartel for $35 million USD, you will get your answer in Showtime’s Operation Odessa which explores the meaning of friendship in the face of mounting pressure from some of the scariest criminal organizations in the world.

Safe - netflix

Pretty terrible after 3 episodes.

Only thing decent is laila rouass tasty Indian <deleted>.

Trying to put comedy in where it is not warranted.

Disappointed, this was hyped up and it's whack.

I'm enjoying it, a little different than the usual run of detective/ espionage/crime type TV shows.

I know everyone has their own view. I've just watched episode 4 of 8 and so far I think it's really good.

Dark Crimes is a new thriller set in poland with Jim Carrey....wish it had more meat on the bone as it was sharing up quite nice but it ended all too abruptly.

Loving 13 Commandments, dropped by Sno.

Not much to choose from these days....saw an interesting doc on porn performer Rocco Siffredi

"Rocco"....be careful if you search you will get a whole bunch of porn at first. Interesting look at the

porn mind....it's certainly unique hehe.

Also enjoyed Humor Me....nice low key comedy drama about a 40 year old loser who goes to live with his dad.

Watched it some months ago ,dont miss it

I watched it until finish 2014.....I always find it hard re watching same thing until about 10 past......although the ways things are lately I'll be re watching last months programs and think their newly released.

Patrick Melrose

released last night----BBC just 5 episodes from the Edward St. Aubyn, novels --rumour is (Benedict Cumberbatch) was banging on doors (or what ever young actors / actresses  do now) to get this part .has just small cast, with some good supporting actors  Hugo  Weaving as his father, they could not find a dirtier gritter part of London now days---so they shot most of it in Glasgow.

The Bridge - the 4th and final series of the this excellent show has just started.

What version of The Bridge is this, Bron Broen?  I only ever watched the US version with the excellent Diane Kruger. If I watched series 4 of Bron Broen would it make sense, or would I need to watch previous series first?

Yep, it's the Swedish version AKA Bron Broen.

They're 2 completely different series.

The US version was based on the Swedish one.

Bron Broen is vastly superior in my opinion.

But do I need to download the previous 3 series of Bron Broen for series 4 to make sense?

Just finished watching Harrow, an Aussie drama about a pathologist. I thought it was excellent, good story with some humour. Find it on tpb.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7242816/?ref_=nv_sr_1

I see there's a second series planned.

Only managed the first 2 episodes of this one.

Didn't really do it for me I'm afraid.

Thanks, I'll give it a miss then, I have too many series to watch now, ie. 4 Blocks, 13 Commandments, Before we Die, Borderliner, False Flag, Gomorrah, Le Chalet, Merciless, Tainted, The Mechanism, The Method, Vanished by the Lake, Handmaids Tale, Billions and Barry. Might be getting overloaded!

Wow...lol.

Bron/Broen pisses on all of them from a great height....except maybe Billions and Gomorrah La Serie.

Of your list, the ones worth watching are Mechanism, and Before we die....rest I deleted.
