Error 520

Last few days I keep getting this error 520 when clicking on threads. Anyone know what this is about? Never had it before.

Me too.  I think it's because there is an error in the 502 thing lol.

 

Think they will sort it out as usual.

Yes, we know about it (it causes mods issues too).

 

Something to do with the forum database re-indexing, it "should" go away soon.

That is what the TSB say? This problem has been going on for a long time now.

It's been going on for many many months, and has AFAIK been the subject of multiple support forum threads. And seems to typically happen for a period almost daily right around 10:30 pm local time... Though lately, been getting it at various other times intermittently as well.

I get it every so often at no fixed time, can be morning, afternoon or night, doesnt happen a lot though

I understand this is related to the forum backup process.

 

It's been happening a lot more often over the last couple of days due to the re-index.

 

By the way, don't shoot the messenger.

The upgrade may have a fix for the problem when the 502 error came up during the evening and sometimes in the afternoon.

Happens often and seems to fix itself after a short while....but is endlessly frustrating.

It seems to be related to the time of day, and the amount of traffic on a particular thread.

I get a Cloudfare link with the 502 error, if I click on that it takes me to the thread.

3 days now. Becoming a severe issue.

The indexing is finished now. You should not see it again.

Yes now 9am 23/5th and it is still happening, 3 times this morning, error520, also not allowing you to post likes.

9.22, 9.23, 9.24 error520 had to reload 3 times, indexing finished yes but not the problems it has caused.

It will be resolved. My fellow mods are complaining about it on our private forum.

Appears it may be a cloudflare problem now.

Well, indexing has apparently finished, sadly the error hasn't.
