The second one is Who killed Garrett Phillips which I've yet to see but it aired this morning.

Did he or didn't he? I'm inclined to think he got away with murder.

Last night I watched Bitter Harvest, which was set between the two World Wars and based on true historical events, and conveys the untold story of the Holodomor, the genocidal famine in Ukraine engineered by the tyrant Joseph Stalin.

The story is not about the Holodomor in its totality as the massive act of genocide of the Ukrainian people but rather, it is the love story about a young man in love with a girl from his village and the destruction of their lives as a result of the Holodomor.

I think it is much more deserving than the 6.1 rating given by IMDB.

If you're enjoying Vera you might want to look at "Unforgotten", too.

The investigation is still open.

This happened in 2011. The prime suspect, the coach, was found not guilty. The odds of closing the case now are pretty remote.

Yep, Unforgotten was great.

They say there is a 4th season out now, but it's not showing on my system?

I enjoyed both series of "The Missing" too, both brilliant

Godfather one of the greatest movies - series of movies of all time for sure.

Game of Thrones is more of a fantasy like JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy -

Like the Vikings series from History channel Canada.

Definitely a different genre than the Godfather movies

Well, being similar to LOTR you make me a bit more inclined to watch it. Thanks!

The Red Sea Diving Resort

Bunch of Israelis smuggle out Ethiopian jews hiding in terrible conditions in Sudan.

Directed by the same guy who produced Homeland. Pretty watchable.

Anyone seen Parasite (KOR, 2019)?

Funny you mentioned it.

I was just about to post about it.

In some Thai theaters now.

Korean with Thai and English subtitles (done really well).

This is one of the best movies I've seen all year big or small screen!

It's entertaining, funny, and also very artistically deep with some Korean content about their culture and conflict with NK that wasn't very hard to get.

I've just finished watching series 1.

It was very good. I like Nicola Walker anyway, and it was interesting to see her in a different role.

The ending however, was I thought, superb: different, emotional, with a fair few twists.

I'm looking forward to series 2 when it makes an appearance.

Thanks again for recommending it, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Btritish family comedy 'Outnumbered' very funny. Viewed it on BBC Iplayer app. Used with a VPN it gives access to a vast repertoire of BBC productions.

Check out “ Cuckoo “, also from the Beeb.

Some bits that I have started watching

Gordon Ramsay Uncharted (Keeps the wife happy)
Preacher is back for a new season
South Side on Comedy Central
Another life on Netflix
Pennyworth - I caught the pilot, seems quite high production, supposed to the story of Batman’s butler.

Take it or leave it
