Willy's not the answer, by any means, but at least he has guts in the penalty area unlike the other bloke who's all froth and no substance.

A devil's bargain.

Perhaps a point away in a entertaining match particular the second half .

but as this season progresses can see no light at the end of the tunnel .????

The front 3 play with no combination between them

as our midfeild do set up chances for them to score but as usual a hit and miss event

Our back 4 defence is a shamble in most matchs this season and today.s Brain Fart by Willy was  largely due to their in albilty to defend correctly.

To cap off . when one see.s Barkley come on with approx 10 mins to go as a false number 9

We are in dire straights and hanging on to a C/L place by a thread. To rectify this

Lamps in my view has to eat some humble pie .in the Giroud situation Etc Etc

particular as we did not sell him and Giroud  may have

gobbled up the chances going begging in the first 35 mins yesterday.

The hot goss is that Kepa our goal keeper is all about

out on his ear

Pope is in Pole position to replace him  for next season

which no doubt will please most supporters

So Lamps at this point is sharpening his axes for next season with a few more heads on the block to follow too

But where does he get the replacements as the last window no signings were made

Lamps in my opinion has sharped his axes far to early whilst  a C/L place is still in the swing.

No C/L and the Top Shelf players who he needs  will no doubt be harder to sign Etc Etc

My message to Lamps would be

Slowly Slowly catches the monkey

Been given a war chest of 150m allegedly.

Yes that is the reported figure

need 250 mil to replace the heads on the block with Top Shelf players. particular if no C/L  qualification

Man U have spent approx 850 mil say over 5 seasons

and look where they are on the EPL table

I've heard that Mike Maignan from Lille is your preferred choice.

Perhaps so

need to be a fly on the wall

to get any T/F ( in or out) rite these days. and at any club for that matter

FWIW

Csea need a commanding Centre Back and a Left Back

before a new goal keeper.

only James and Rudi  are playing to EPL  defensive requirements(  day in day out .) during  our Transitional  season under Lamps. the next few matchs will tell a few tales with a C/L place at stake.

Dutch are reporting that you're picking up Hakim Ziyech from Ajax in the summer for around 45m euros. Very talented player but does have a tendency to lose possession. Good buy if that can be eradicated. Normally plays on RW.....Willian replacement?

A very good addition to the squad. Has pace, intelligence and crosses the ball particularly well.

Another nightmare at The Bridge????

Won just 4 out of the last 14 matchs????

Lamps . please clear your head !!!!

Starting BatSh#t instead of Giroud ????

not to mention cream puff Christannen instead of Timori ????

Heading for mid table unless a new direction is taken and immediate changes made

At least something came out of last nites wreck

Number 1 goal keeper Kepa  cannot be the whipping boy on  this thread????

As for VAR

Agree. win some .lose some

But it SUCKS !!!!!!

Well done M/U

Massive 3 points????

and Lamps heeded my advice to clear his head with 4 players coming into the line up  with Giroud and Alonso  scoring plus playing 3 at the back.

Our high pressing was excellent through out with Mount leading the press

Reece James  is  a corker in all parts of  his game and surely appears a very bright future on the horizon

Summing up . best team performance for weeks dearly hope it continues

The Var sucked again ????

took 3 or 4 mins to decide and still got it wrong

and later admitted so????

Football wise, that's what a well oiled machine looks like. Bayern were streets ahead of us in passing, pace and movement. Everything they did seemed to be pre planned and was executed to perfection. There was a calm authority about their game while our play was frantic and messy. They were just a better side. To be as good as Bayern, tactics or not, you have to have the class players. They had them in abundance while we are at least four players light.

Thought you did well to hold on for so long. They are a class act. They have developed into a right handful. So much pace in the side. i thought Muller was nearing the end but last night he looked class.

No shame in going out to them.

Steady on, we're not out yet! We did them at their place before remember.

You’ve got no chance I’m afraid.

I'm feeling surprisingly confident for tonight's game, I reckon we'll give them a right hammering, maybe even as much as two-nil. Hang on, we don't do clean sheets these days, better make that a two-one stuffing.

Another ordinary performance. particular our poor

defence in all areas

(7 clean sheets in 40 odd games) was again on show.

Providing C/sea secure a C/L

place. its all down to a minor miracle .nuffin else

Need that 250 mil war chest

for a complete overhaul for next season and take it from there

Easier Said Then Done

Decent young Kepa you had playing last night????

It was written in the stars Wil'. The most expensive goalkeeper in the world, couldn't catch a cold, dropped in favour of an old stager then has a stormer against the European champions.
