My dad was born in 1912 and my mother 1918 and I never hears either one say it, but I did have my mouth washed out with soap the only time my mother ever heard me say it, much less let me name a pet that.

 

I do remember a white-trash family a couple streets over with a black dog named that, so yeah, it happens.
