Never been to a Thai classroom eh?  Everyone I've been to has a chart hanging on the wall with important historical persons and HItler and Stalin are always there as are globes both round and hanging on the wall.  If not taught why hanging on the wall?  Every one of my Thai friends know who they are and watch the history channel on TV.  Kids all know appun is a fruit.

No.  They are taught that Japan and Germany lost WWII and about Thai: เสรีไทย; RTGS: Seri Thai) was a Thai underground resistance movement against Imperial Japan during the war. They skip the part about the Thai war criminals.

I've been in several Thai schools. Never seen pictures of Hitler or Stalin. None of my three stepchildren have been taught anything about WW2. One of them is currently at Uni.
