Nigerian scammer has a bit of explaining to do - despite his shirt

An alleged Nigerian Romance Scammer appeared at tech police HQ with a message on his back.

 

It read: "I HATE EXPLAINING SH*T".

 

But Chinagoram Chetrak Anyanu (name transliterated from Thai) has plenty of explaining to do. 

 

Cops who went to his room in Samut Prakarn found a computer notebook with incriminating evidence that he was scamming people on Facebook.

 

He might also like to explain his marriage to a Romance Scamming Thai already in custody.

 

He was also on overstay.

 

The case follows the arrest of two Thais for swindling a Saraburi woman out of 250,000 baht. Tech and immigration police arrested Phichet Chaiyaphum and Phisana Kitket.

 

Phisana is the wife of the Nigerian and Phichet is the owner of a bank account used in the fraud. 

 

Phisana posed as a customs official and used the ATM connected to the account to withdraw the money sent by the victim who was told that presents could only be released if fees were paid. 

 

The Nigerian was allegedly posing as another person in the scam that followed the same pattern as dozens of other cases in recent years. 

 

But the message on the back of the shirt was different this time - though Thai press reports failed to pick up on it.

There are foreigners of just about every race committing crimes here. Majority of the reported pedophiles in Thailand are of European origin and that hasn't changed the warm welcome Europeans enjoy here and it doesn't make sane people like myself think for once that there is a genetic propensity for such acts. No denying Nigerians commit a lot of crime but that has nothing to do with the attitude of SOME Thais to blacks. They simply don't just like the color, even when their own people have a little too much melanin it is a problem for SOME Thais.
    If you're racist, prejudiced or just have a low IQ such that you cannot understand that some people from a race/country can commit a certain act/crime and yet you still have decent people from the same country then not much can be done to help you. I am both a doctor and an IT specialist.  I am also a a certified honourable, a chief, a minister, a Rabbi and an engineer.  I have several BAs, some BScs, a masters and a PHd.

I bought them all of the street in Lagos!

Parts of modern Thailand previously belonged to Myanmar ( mons from western Thailand), Laos ( northern Thailand and Korat plateau) , cambodia( southern Korat plateau) and they are of darker skin colour. Traditional prejudices still persist here. Having those people of darker skin working at a lower economic structure certainly doesn’t help matters.

Whilst stereotyping isn't really an appropriate methodology for any race or nationality (you do realize the difference between those two words I hope), it's probably a fair statement to suggest that a seemingly large portion of the people here from certain African countries seem to be connected with illegal activities and/or not meeting the legal requirements to stay.

 

The difference here is that police aren't gagged by political correctness when commenting on such things.

I think worgeordie was being sarcastic about Big Joke and his efforts to catch overstayers! No inferring anything about the person in the article or the guys skin colour.

So I don't see his comments being racist or prejudiced and from his previous comments in Thaivisa, his IQ seems fine. However when using sarcasm, people need a sense of humour for it to be appreciate.
